We have a passion for delicious bites and even better wine. Founded by Ioannis Choutris in 2011, we developed a niche for procuring hard-to-find labels and vintages from around the world. Over time, our drive towards excellence allowed us to grow into a full-service kitchen. We specialize in high-quality cuts from the land and sea, while also maintaining our commitment to finding that perfect wine for any occasion. Featuring chef-crafted specials, unique flavors, and beautiful wines to pair, our staff is sure to impress during your next visit!

Very happy with our visit to Yiannis! The food from start to finish was excellent. The server helped us choose a delicious reasonably priced bottle of wine. We highly recommend Yiannis. The atmosphere is as casual or dressy as you would like. Intimate bar area. Plenty of parking! We will definitely plan another visit soon.

Yiannis is a restaurant that truly awakens your taste buds. We visited on a Tuesday for their “Burgers and Bourbon” special and were blown away by the Dry Aged Wagyu Burger topped with bacon jam. The flavor was unmatched, and knowing the patties are freshly ground from wagyu chuck—not frozen—made it even better. We had the chance to speak with the owner, Yiannis, who shared his passion for the process, and it’s clear his dedication pays off. The bourbon and wine selection is one of the best we’ve encountered in Virginia Beach. Coming from Northern California, where food and spirits are part of our culture, Yiannis made us feel right at home with his exceptional offerings and warm hospitality.

We enjoyed everything from ambiance to all the food and wine we ate. The lamb was amazing and it was cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed the charcuterie board. The paired white and red wine was very delicious. We will be back to try other dishes.
