We have a passion for delicious bites and even better wine. Founded by Ioannis Choutris in 2011, we developed a niche for procuring hard-to-find labels and vintages from around the world. Over time, our drive towards excellence allowed us to grow into a full-service kitchen. We specialize in high-quality cuts from the land and sea, while also maintaining our commitment to finding that perfect wine for any occasion. Featuring chef-crafted specials, unique flavors, and beautiful wines to pair, our staff is sure to impress during your next visit!

Amazing first time at Yiannis! We will for sure go back and take friends. Food was awesome - oysters, shrimp and Halibut... the sommelier picked out a great bottle of wine. I cannot believe we've lived in VA Beach for 20+ yrs and didn't know about this place!

We have been ordering wine from Yiannis for years. So when we had a chance to book a vacation at Virginia Beach, we knew where our first reservation would be and it did not disappoint. We went on a Tuesday so was nice and relaxed. Had the meatballs and fresh oysters to start both of which were excellent and we split the whole fish done oriental style. Chris the sommelier was super helpful and instead of getting a bottle we took advantage of the tasting cards and tried at least 8-10 wines. Where else can you have a glass of Caymus followed by a 2016 Bordeaux followed by an outstanding Moldovan wine?? Highly recommended for wine lovers and foodies!! Chris also gave us a sneak peak at the upcoming pizzeria to open soon. And dessert?? We got the Carrot Cake and key lime pie to go both of which were fantastic!!

this is a hidden gem in VAB. We went there on a recommendation of our neighbor. So glad we did. This place is truly a winery with a restaurant in it. It you like great food and amazing choices of wine with smiling, professional yet friendly service, this is your place. The owner Yainni introduced himself to us and showed us the great wine selection that he has. Both my wife and I highly recommend this place and will be back. Thank you guys.

We used to love going to Yianni's and being a part of the wine club, but over my last 3 visits within 30 days, I've left a little disappointed each time. While the staff is pleasant, they seem to have a high rotation, and everyone is really new. Favorite menu items keep disappearing.All of the appetizers are high priced compared to other fine dining and smaller porrions. Specials and program policies seem to change each visit. I understand inflation may be a little part of it, but being regulars of many local spots that aren't showing this kind of inconsistency, I have to wonder what is happening at Yianni's.

Our party of 4 were all first time patrons. We were all impressed with the menu which is much larger than online. We split a couple of appetizers, tried some specials and of course indulged in wine! Our server was exceptional and the sommelier made outstanding selections/ pairings. We all are looking forward to our next visit

The food is always amazing. Had the fish dip and mussels for an appetizer. I had the halibut and my husband and BIL had the Porter House. Finished it off with the seasonal homemade bread pudding.

The restaurant was oddly empty, but then they sat someone right behind us so we were basically having dinner with them. The drinks and food took forever to come out even though we were the only ones there at first. And they were only able to bring out three entrées and the fourth one was about five minutes later.
