At Yellow Door Taqueria, we are serving up traditional & contemporary Mexican cuisine with a New England Spin. Our traditional tacos each have an individual twist and they're all served on the tortillas we make fresh every morning. We offer a full bar and have a stacked drink menu including several different kinds of Margaritas, an extensive tequila, and mezcal list, as well as carefully craft cocktails. If you're not into the hard stuff, no worries, we have mocktails, Mexican sodas, beer, wine, and more!

This location resides in Boston's South End at the InkBlock apartment community. In addition to being right off of Route 90 and 93, we are steps from SoWa Market, Peter's Park, and so much more! Our original location lives in the heart of Lower Mills, Dorchester.

We are open 7 days a week for dinner & for brunch on the weekends!

The questions really as good as others say!! All of our tacos were good, and we got a variety. The churros were also amazing… a guilty pleasure type of treat but worth it!! My one thing about value was my drink… it only had about 3 sips in it. It was full of ice. I didn’t complain or mention it to the waitstaff because they seemed really busy. Two waitresses covering floor and bar, but we were well taken care of considering. Would definitely go back.

Best spicy margaritas around in my humble opinion. Yellow Door Taqueria knows how to make a margarita. Delicious Mexican food - flavorful and fresh. Fast and attentive customer service. Lively atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Great service but it was loud to the point that it was hard to hear. The fish tacos and margaritas were good but some of the other tacos didn't stand out.

Great drinks and delicious food! Service was very nice as well. I got the tuna ceviche and it was delicious, only wished there was a little bit more tuna. Overall still 5/5 for food and service. Taking away a star because it was kinda loud in the restaurant, felt like I was yelling just to talk to my friends ( sitting near the speakers). We were there for about 2.5 hours, would’ve stayed longer to celebrate our friends birthday, but we’re indirectly asked to leave because the next reservation for the table had just gotten there, which is completely understandable - just the first time that I been asked.

The food and drinks were good and the vibes were good, but everything was incredibly slow. It took a long time for the server to come to order drinks, and again to order food. Then the drinks and food all took a super long time to come. Sadly I don’t think we will be back

Our server Rafi was fantastic. Super patient and helpful. Always had a smile on her face and service was quick and to perfection. Food was delicious and vibe was great. Thanks so much!

Coconut margaritas were excellent. Queso is perfect, not too spicy and not overly salty. Plenty of chips. Elote- also delicious. Birria tacos - top tier. Stuffed churros with dulce de leche were the perfect ending.

Got the duck taco, the cauliflower taco, and the Instagram drink. The tacos were just "okay" and we're kind of bland. The drink was pretty good, though. On the other hand, the guac and chips were awesome. Waitress came back briefly to see how the food and drinks were, and we never saw her again until we had to flag her down for another round of drinks about 40 minutes later. Also, music is WAY too loud. At a small high-top of three of us, we had to yell to have a conversation and even then, we had issues. Cost was ridiculous, too. 5 drinks, guac and chips, and six tacos were around $150 after all was said and done. I was excited for this place just based on the website and the menu, but I wouldn't go back.

We dined outdoors on a lovely August evening. 3 of us sampled several different tacos - all excellent, especially carnitas and shrimp. We had guacamole and chips to start and it did not disappoint. We had house margaritas and a mocktail - all great! Our server was efficient and friendly. Nothing to complain about - a lovely experience, already recommended to others.
