As always, Yellow Dog was wonderful. The food, wine and service was great. Our server, Mary, is a treasure.

We t to have my favorite dish cod. Got there and was special menu for New Years Eve. Either of us loved our entrees. Everything else was good

Today, I had the pleasure of celebrating my brother's birthday at Yellow Dog Café with my sister and husband. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Our server, Katherine, was truly outstanding. Her attentiveness, knowledge and friendly demeanor made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. To start, we ordered the buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes, conch fritters, and corn fritters. Each appetizer was delicious and set the tone for the meal to come. For our main courses, we chose steak tips, tuna, mahi-mahi, and cod. Every dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The variety allowed us to enjoy a range of tastes, and we were all impressed by the quality of the food. To finish off our meal, we indulged in dessert: chocolate brownie, crème brûlée, and bread pudding. Each dessert was a delightful treat, rounding out our meal perfectly. The ambience of Yellow Dog Café was also noteworthy—inviting and well-suited for a special occasion. Overall, I highly recommend Yellow Dog Café for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The combination of excellent food, fantastic service, stunning views of the Indian River and its wildlife, and a lovely atmosphere made for a birthday celebration to remember.

Dinner was an outstanding experience. Food was terrific, service was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed this closure to our Christmas week.

I have been wanting to go here for years and finally got there today. The great reviews were all true. We had a party of five for a special occasion and they put us in our own little room looking out onto the water. The escargot was served on puff pastry with the signature dog bone cut out of the pastry. Delicious. Everyone’s entrée was wonderful and the waiter Leo was exceptionally good. We did not have dessert as that was going to happen at home, but we will definitely be back to eat there again and definitely have dessert. Highly recommend this place.

Start with an expresso martini and then enjoy any one of their menu selections. Our table had the baked Brie and conch fritters, followed by blackened mahi and the scallops with risotto, all of which was delicious. Did u know they grow their herbs hydroponically just across the street? The wait staff is superb but my observation of the owner is that he is less than pleasant. He was demanding and annoying among the guest tables, micro managing the servers. Delicious and will likely return but hopefully on a day the owner is busy elsewhere

My husband and I went to The Yellow Dog Café for the first time today. My husband had a generous portion of beef tip bourguignon while I had the mahi mahi with lobster saffron cream sauce over rice. Both were exceptional. Our waitress Olivia was very attentive and provided excellent service. We had an awesome experience and we’ll definitely be back soon.

We travel just under an hour to eat at Yellow Dog a few times a season. Have been doing this for many years now. It’s a great restaurant. Food is always excellent and the waitstaff is amazing. We’ve had many different waitpersons over the years and I honestly don’t know their secret to recruiting but the staff are always unbelievably great.
