Only 40kms from Melbourne CBD at 19 Bell St, Yarra Glen.

60 minuets to wait from ordering ( standard meals) too long . Especially when the venue was app 30% full. Not happy. This will cause me to drive to lilydale hotels (will have plenty of time spare)

Oyster kilpatrick entree, the oysters had been frozen so not nice. Pork belly salad for mains, pork was thin slices like bacon.. nothing like Pork Belly pieces at all. Lovely pub but really disappointed with the food.

We booked a last minute Father’s Day lunch and we were pleasantly surprised to get in. When we arrived at the pub we had booked for the sports bar (as that is all that was left) and our greeter offered us a quieter table in the dining room for us and our 4yr old, it was so lovely. They let us know food was taking an hour and suggested we order our chips to come first followed by our main meals to keep our daughter at bay…the food service station were clearly run off their feet and totally exhausted but they accommodated our request with little bother. The food came out in a timely manner (considering the busy day) and knowing that we had a wait prior really made it easier to make the most of the wait and pace ourselves with drinks and time our activities while we waited. Every person we dealt with was pleasant and professional, the ambience was relaxed but social and the food was delicious!!! This is only the second time we’ve been here two years apart, but both times we felt really welcomed and comfortable. It’s definitely the sign of a well-managed venue, happy staff and great organisation. Well done!! We will be back more often now knowing that the great service and good food wasn’t just a fluke. Oh and really great menu offerings and beer choices on the taps too!! An all round great pub. Thank you 🫶

The food was amazing as always. Great value for money and great service. Would be nice to have some background music.

We hadn't been to the Yarra Valley Grand Hotel for a long while. There were 4 adults and 2 kids. The place was packed, but the service was still great, although the food took a little while, but as it was the Saturday before Fathers Day I think this was why it was packed. Either way they handled the ordering and food wonderfully. Plenty of bar staff too so didn't wait long for a drink. The food was great. We had steak, chicken parma, beef burger, pork sausages and we all enjoyed our meals. The grandkids loved the apple juice and jelly that comes with the kids meals. We sat in the Dining Room which has great. The other bistro areas were very busy and a bit noisy so I'm glad we were in the Dining Room area. Altogether we were very happy we've been back and we'll be going again soon.

Dining in the restaurant was great. Food was very good quality, fast service and whilst a little noisy it was very enjoyable.

We had a lovely lunch on Sunday and all four of us really enjoyed our meals - Parmigiana, Whiting, Pork special and Nasi Goreng. The room was nice and quiet and spacious, service was great, and prices reasonable. Definitely will return next market day.
