We had an amazing experience at Yardbird! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Linda, our waitress, was an absolute gem—so friendly and attentive. She really made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was phenomenal! We ordered the Caesar salad, which was fresh and flavorful, along with their famous biscuits—so soft and buttery. The fried chicken was crispy, tender, and perfectly seasoned, while the mac and cheese was rich and comforting. Every bite was delicious! We were also celebrating a birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it a truly special occasion. The attention to detail and the warm atmosphere made for an unforgettable dining experience. If you’re in the mood for great Southern comfort food with outstanding service, Yardbird is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Food quality, taste, and value was undeniable. Sat close to bar area and the way the bar team throws bottle and plates after clearing is the loudest I’ve ever heard in my life. There were times it was startling and made me jump. Literally ruined what was an otherwise perfect meal experience.

Good was delicious as always. Service was slow but I think that’s because the tip is built in. It’s still my favorite in DC!

The wine selection wasn’t great and they were out of it. The server was friendly but they brought all our food (salad, appetizer and main course) at the same time which is low brow. At 10:30 on. Friday night - a server walked around and told everyone they were closing and it was time to leave. The restaurant was full of people - who literally had to get up at the same time and walk out. I have never seen anything like it. I spent $240 and was treated like I was in a McDonalds. Will likely never go back. The rotisserie chicken was dry and the mashed potatoes were almost too salty to eat. Skip this place and spend your money somewhere like the Capital Grille
