Great time had by all. The service was excellent and the food amazing. Generous portions, lots of attention from staff. It is one of our favorites for a reason!

Food and ambiance were top notch!! I would suggest that entrees and Yardbird Classics should come with a side dish for the price you’re charging.

Service was not ideal. Took 20 minutes before we had someone take our drink order. Then she took away our menus before we ordered food. Didn’t see her again for 20 minutes which was odd as we wanted to order dinner. Brought me someone else’s glass of wine and never noticed she had brought me two glasses of wine.

The smoked ribs are a must!!! The ribs are presented in a smoke filled cloche. As impressive as the display was, the ribs were even better! The lobster Mac and cheese was good, though it seems to maybe have set for a while before being brought to the table as it wasn’t as creamy as expected but still good.

Never saw our server again after we ordered our food. I had ordered another Martini, never got it. 4 People at our table and gratuity was added. They know they are getting 18% no matter what I guess.

Yardbird is one of my favorite restaurant’s but I was heavily disappointed in the DC location. The server was great and was really nice. But the food quality was bland. The fried chicken wasn’t seasoned, the lemon chicken was cooked well, the cornbread was undercooked and the Mac n cheese was dry. My greens and Brussel sprouts were good. The Dallas location has me spoiled… their food is AMAZING! So I expected the same. I’m still a fan but I was left wanting something else.

Overall, the restaurant has a nice ambiance and the front staff is welcoming. The service was good at the beginning but began to lag at the end of the meal. Even after talking to the floor manager to speed the service (getting the bill), it was not the greatest way to end particularly when the 18% gratuity is mandatory or already charged to the bill. I don't recall seeing on the menu that gratuity is automatic but it should be more prominently displayed.
