I love Yardbird in Dallas, but the Denver location leaves a lot to be desired. The last two times I've been here at the service has been terribleeeee. It takes forever to get a server and definitely don't expect to get your drinks refilled. Both times we were also missing several items from our order. The food was also very underwhelming. Not sure what the issue is, but I don't know that I'll be back.

My wife and I enjoyed our time at Yard Bird. The service was excellent. Our waiter, Brian, was welcoming, kind, and courteous. He was knowledgeable of the menu and the local traditions which drove the menu items. He provided prompt service. Our food was delicious. My wife had the St. Louis ribs and I had Llewellyn's Fine Fried Chicken. We chose the mashed potatoes for our side. The meal was well prepared and delicious. The ribs were tender with a hickory/oak smokey flavor to them. The chicken skin was crispy and flavorful and the inside was tender and juicy. The honey hot sauce added a hint of sweet heat to the chicken.

The ambiance and service were really the only good things. Mario at the bar was very attentive and personable but unfortunately the food was not good compared to how much everything cost.

The original Yardbird in Miami Beach was a favorite. The restaurant in Denver does not disappoint. The food is great and our server was attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely come back!

The service was SO slow and it wasn’t busy. A few items were missed and reminded of a few times, waived from the bill. When reserving the table I added in the comments that we were celebrating a 40th birthday. Server had no idea, offered a candle but never brought it out. The couple next to us waited over 15 minutes, server never came to intro or take drinks order so they left. Food was amazing.

Overall, a great experience. While it took about 25 minutes to be seated, our wonderful host Meg made sure we had a complementary glass of champagne while we waited. The ambiance was very nice and service attentive. The appetizers were amazing - we almost didn't need to order our mains. Anything that came out of their smoker was amazing - particularly the brisket (so tender). Some of the items were a bit expensive, but overall it was a good value.

This was our first time at Yardbird, and it didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend all of the snacks on their menu, you won’t be disappointed.

The food was great. The service was slow. We were sitting in the bar area, and it took an extended time to get drinks or even a second drink. Most of us at the table that it was odd as we were just ordering bottle beers,

The vibe as we walked in was nice. Hostess was nice, but I was not happy where we were sat. We were a party of 2 but felt like party of 6. We could not hear our own conversation due to the party next to us over talking. The waiter was a little slow in responding, but once we placed our order, it came quick. The food was FRESH, and taste amazing. We live over 40 miles away (one-way) and saw this restaurant on Tiktok and wanted the experience. Even though our first experience was not the best we will try to eat here again to give the restaurant another chance.
