YAO pays culinary homage to the vibrant Yaowarat neighborhood in Bangkok, an ancient Thai-Chinese community.

As you can imagine, the neighborhood is a paradise for food lovers because this cultural blending has created some of the most delicious eats on Earth. Spicy, crunchy, tangy and delectable dishes are handed down over many generations.

We created this restaurant to have the look, feel and tastes of Yaowarat, and we cant wait to share our food with you! Once more, we welcome you and yours to YAO.

Honestly I may have not picked the best entree it was still good but not amazing. But their mussels were great and salmon. But I think service was amazing the waiter Miguel explained everything was quick with what we needed and was overall super helpful. Not only that the interior is very nice and beautiful. If you want a nice dinner I would highly recommend.

Live music on Friday night but way to loud for the space. Couldn’t even hear the server when they were speaking. Didn’t even get to order food due to the loud environment.

Loved the experience this is our first time eating here. The waiter who served us was nice and made sure we were good. The ambience is beautiful and the food is delicious. I recommend this place and willing to visit again.

very disappointed in our server, when I got to almost the half way point of my salmon I noticed that the middle was raw. I notified the server who immediately said he wouldn’t do anything because I “ate too much of it.” mind you, he said this with an attitude as if I did something wrong. I explained to him that it was the middle of the salmon that was raw and reminded him that I ordered the salmon medium well. He didn’t want to offer a solution so I told him to take it as I couldn’t eat it, we’d just move to dessert after my partner was finished with his meal. The waiter eventually came back and said he’d get me a new one to go, didn’t give me the option to eat it in the restaurant. we felt like he wanted us to leave. it was my birthday and I didn’t get to complete a full meal. very disappointed in this experience

My wife and I chose the Date Night Package for our evening out, and it was an incredible experience. At just $99, the value was unbeatable—great food, excellent service, and a perfect ambiance. Our waitress was amazing—attentive, friendly, and always on point. The food arrived hot, and the portions were just right. We highly recommend this place and are already planning our next visit!

The food & atmosphere were great, but the service was poor at best, our server just never bothered to check on us. The live music was great but we only saw 2 massages given the whole time we were there.

Yao was the perfect vibe. Service was top tier. The massage was relaxing. The food was literally a chef's kiss. The live music elevated the intimate ambiance that much more.
