YAO pays culinary homage to the vibrant Yaowarat neighborhood in Bangkok, an ancient Thai-Chinese community.

As you can imagine, the neighborhood is a paradise for food lovers because this cultural blending has created some of the most delicious eats on Earth. Spicy, crunchy, tangy and delectable dishes are handed down over many generations.

We created this restaurant to have the look, feel and tastes of Yaowarat, and we cant wait to share our food with you! Once more, we welcome you and yours to YAO.

This was our second visit to Yao. The service was very good and the food was amazing! The duck fried rice was great!

Ambience was awesome with live music.. food was pathetic.. the food tasted neither Chinese nor Thai.. needs a lot of improvement.. we eat a lot of Asian food but this wasn’t it.. it was my husband’s birthday and total bummer coz of the food.. never ever go again and will not recommend to anyone..

Great as usual never dissappoints. My husband really enjoyed the fish. Also the best lychee martini you will probably have in Atlanta tbh.

First time trying this place after seeing it on TikTok & it lived up to the hype! We went around 7/7:30 it was not too packed & pretty quiet. That changed around 8 it got turnt up quick lol but in the best way. Our server Natasha was super sweet & her recommendations were on point! Everything was tasty! The crab wontons, muscles to die for!! Drinks have just enough kick. The duck which is my favorite was great. I wish it was in a cute location with more shopping & things to do but I’m not mad at all.

Our Yao experience was amazing! When you walk in the ambiance is top notch. Seeing things on social media is one thing but experiencing it in person was great!!!!! We really enjoy our drinks! I had the Mr.Yao and she had the tiny berries. The Calamari and Oyster appetizers were both very good! We enjoyed the oyster presentation! For our entrees I had the salmon panang, which was absolutely amazing!! She had the seafood basil, which she said was good atleast 10 times at the table lol. We finished up with the Yao ice cream which was delicious and different! Loved the presentation on the ice cream as well. 10/10 dining experience! Would definitely recommend to everyone. We loved our server Nathasha S!!!!!

The food and our server were great! Unfortunately they advertise online for shoulder massages during dinner on Fridays and Saturdays but they told us they stop that a few months ago. It is still being promoted and that’s why we chose this restaurant for a birthday.

We were a group of 5 ppl and our server was so damn rude and racist . He didn even take away the menus after we ordered . He didn clean the table after we were done with our appetizer . He didn check on us if we’re doing ok . We were there for a birthday celebration and had a terrible experience.
