Yamamori North City is located in the heart of Dublin, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge. Opened in 2007, the restaurant is located in two stunning Georgian Houses and boasts original features which fit well into our modern Japanese theme. In this stunning restaurant, we display some beautiful 19th-century Japanese artwork, and also original Samurai Artifacts.

Yamamori North City is perfect for all occasions and parties, no matter how big or small. Sushi, Tempura, Japanese Grill & Ramen are prepared fresh daily and are some of our staple favourites. We offer an extensive lunch menu that provides a quick yet satisfying option for those on a tight schedule. For dinner, our menu expands to include a variety of traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes, allowing guests to experience a true taste of Japan in the heart of Dublin.

The manager couldn’t find our online booking when we arrived and seemed disinterested in accommodating us even though the restaurant wasn’t full. He reluctantly seated us. When he returned to take our order he was less than cordial, certainly didn’t break a smile. The food was tasty, portions were large and food was served in good time. Other members of staff were very friendly and pleasant. The prices weren’t cheap and we were slightly surprised to see that they charged a service charge of 12.5% on tables of more than 3 people which we felt was a bit steep and meant we had to reward the poor service we received. Overall a tasty meal but I won’t be returning

Amazing service very attentive and a cool vibe inside, cocktails and sushi are really good, was disappointed in the takoyaki but otherwise food was great!

Really attentive staff with delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Used to eat there at least once a month before Covid and loved that it is still stupendous and even had one of the same staff members as the last time I was there which is always a good sign.

pretty overrated, food was good, service hit and miss you are unable to upgrade the alcohol on the drinks was told to do so Do you have to pay for the drink you want plus a shot separately so two drinks to get a better grade of alcohol the staff was unable to explain it in a way that was palatable or didn’t even know how much the side shot cost perhaps it was inexpensive and fine to do, But it’s completely impossible to reach that decision with all the information, not given overall, It’s pretty crowded and loud and difficult not worth it really

Fabulous food. It was piping hot and so tasty. The restaurant was buzzing, There was a great atmosphere. The only thing I could fault was the service. It was very difficult to get a waiters attention. I feel that the restaurant may have been understaffed for how busy it was. However, all staff were very pleasant. Despite this, I would highly recommend it. The other 7 diners in my group absolutely raved about the food.

Nice food and nice service. Very loud though. the environment has no soundproofing and the music was very loud - difficult to talk to someone at the table.
