Yama ramen and sushi bar is a Japanese eatery and sushi bar. We proudly serve our authentic ramen and delicate Japanese sushi.
We are located at the heart of Midtown West New York City and walking distance from Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nintendo NYC, Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
Reservation is not required.

Very good value and our meal was delicious. I would caution those who have physical limitations that this restaurant is up a somewhat steep flight of stairs. Once you get up to the top, you are welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. This restaurant serves wine and beer but no hard liquor. I had the bento box which was more than filling. My picky-eating family was able to find great choices for dinner.

Went for restaurant week and ramen was amazing! Loved the shoyu ramen and spicy tuna on chips.

Good ramen and sushi place. Ambience is energetic. Seating is a bit close and cramped but otherwise ok. Limited dessert menu. Dim lighting.

The sushi and Ramen are excellent here. The service was very quick and the staff very courteous. The restaurant seems old, but was very clean. I highly recommend as a great spot to eat before going to the Rock.

The meal was basically mediocre though excellent endamame to start, was just the right temperature and sprinkled with salt to enhance the flavor. The service was very sharp. Someone pointed out the right Saki for me, light and dry.

I absolutely love Yama Ramen. My favorite Japanese restaurant. Ramen and sushi are excellent. Friendly and fast service. Tonkotsu ramen and double dragon signature roll are my favorite.
