Yalla is a neighborhood Mediterranean smokehouse from the Sesame Collective restaurant group. Opened in summer of 2020, Yalla brings a Mediterranean smokehouse to the heart of the Multnomah Village neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. With a menu of smoked meats, seasonal vegetables, and comfort dishes, Yalla is currently open for delivery, take out, and full service dining. Yalla is helmed by Chef/Owner Kasey Mills and Chef de Cuisine Daniel Valley.

Excellent food, each dish a great combination of textures and colors, and well seasoned. Complex but not fussy. Good service, reasonable prices. The bar was a little loud but otherwise pretty perfect.

Delicious food! Cozy atmosphere. We had the fennel & apple salad, lebne with roasted cauliflower, cedar plank salmon & schmaltz cornbread. Also enjoyed the banana ice cream & baklava for dessert & the Ruby SoHo cocktail!

Seriously some of the best food I have had in Portland recently. Do not miss the cornbread! Good gracious it was sublime. The ribeye was also perfection.

We had the fried chicken and the ribeye. Both were delicious. We also had hummus and beet salad. So good! High quality, classy food!

A great new food experience for those who have not enjoyed Yalla previously. If you don’t care for beets or say cauliflower, they way they prepare these veggies is like nothing you’ve had before. Try all those things you never have before & you’ll see why this restaurant has such a great reputation.
