My friend and I had a great time! We were serviced by Terry and he was awesome. Highly recommend this place.

Our server was great. She helped us understand the menu and made recommendations. The dark meat chicken was very flavorful and the chicken wing appetizer was perfect. The spicy tuna rolls were delicious but the outstanding dish was the cheesecake.

We had the best time at Yakitori Kona. The cocktails were inventive and perfectly made. The crudos were excellent as were the chicken and eel skewers. The slider was great along with a plateful of excellent fries. One of our party must avoid gluten and the staff was very helpful in pointing out options and items to avoid.

Started off kinda slow with the Service. Seemed like only one person was taking orders. Once we got our drinks, things seemed to pick up. We had fried gyoza and Umami wings for appetizers. We loved the wings. Great tasting sauce. My daughter had the beginning salmon box, and my son and I had the American Steak skewers. Very tender and tasty meat. We both loved the marinate sauce used. On Tuesday they have buy two and get two free. My son ordered four, but they forgot to bring the second order. it happens!! Great environment!!! I liked the wooden origami hanging in the windows. There's valet parking on the side of the building. Busy, but great neighborhood. Overall, it was a good experience.

Outstanding cocktails, engaging staff, and very unique Yakitori (the steak, lobster, eel, pepper, and locally-sourced zucchini were all excellent!)

Food was fantastic but the server (and seemingly the kitchen staff too) was ill-prepared to manage food allergies, which was quite surprising in this day and age.

We actually never had a chance to try the food. After being sat at our table and waiting for 30 minutes with no one waiting on us we left. It was very busy and there appeared to be only 1 waitress who was also the hostess. Multiple tables were frustrated so we decided it wasn't worth waiting it out. We did try to get her attention but she seemed set on ignoring us or was just completely overwhelmed by all of the tables she was serving. Food looked good, but overpriced. We wandered down the road to LA Moon and had a wonderful experience there.

Nice place. Service was fantastic. Very attentive and responsive. Small space. When we arrived they were cranking some old grunge metal a bit too old for this middle aged man, but they reined it in eventually. Would recommend overall.

Their friendly team provided excellent service & food. Delicious cocktails & sake. Fun atmosphere! Con: to demand $50 min to reserve a bar seat was a bit off putting considering limited seating. Of course, we easily spent more than that w/ drinks,1 app and 2 entries.
