Food disappointing (apparently there were issues with the kitchen staff, three people fired that morning) and after almost an hour wait, our brunch entries came out cold. Bat Manager gave us a small discount - but if he looked at our plates, he would have seen the food was basically untouched. This place is hit or miss…been there before and had a good experience, but likely won’t be back.

The food and our server were both top notch. However, as soon as we entered the restaurant we could tell it was very warm inside and that made for a very uncomfortable time while trying to enjoy our meal. It was a very hot day, but it was obvious to everyone that there was a problem with the air conditioning and circulation in general. The wait staff were very aware of the situation and kept apologizing...we even asked if speaking to the Manager would help and they told us the Manager was well aware of the temperature inside.

Everything was perfect, except the food. Just not great. And the coffee cups are so tiny, they had to come over and give us new cups like every 10 minutes. I can make better scrambled eggs at home. And the pancake was like a cookie.

I ordered the salmon tacos, they were great. There were about 4 or 5 other tables being served. It took us one hour to get our food. One person said her fish and chips was too cold to eat and another said her prime rib was burned. The wait staff was very good, it wasn't their fault. I don't know what happened but they were disappoionted.

This place keeps changing owners and it’s always different. I only go there for the views.

Food is good, environment outstanding and pricing is moderate. What more is there to say, a fine luncheon experience for our choice to celebrate 37 years of marriage. Been there before intend going there again after some 30 years of a Basking Ridge resident.

We haven’t been here since when this switched over. The service has improved, and the food is much better. It wasn’t that crowded, so we really hope it works out. The place is great and the view is spectacular!!

Food was very good and the menu had great options and variety. While the service was attentive and the wait staff were nice, they all seemed not very polished and somewhat fumbling and awkward for what I expect from a restaurant at a country club in Basking Ridge. The wait staff was stumped when we asked about decaffeinated tea options, but very sweetly brought out a Lipton tea bag to see if we were ok with it. I am not a tea snob but I would expect Lipton at a diner but not at a more upscale restaurant like 26 Tavern. Overall a good experience for a casual dining experience, but I would not recommend it for special occasions.

possibly there worst service I've ever had, had to wait 15 mins to get a drink after I ordered it with 2 bartenders and a half full bar , the wait staff is all Spanish and I'm not sure their grasp of English is great , The Chicken Milanese was good, the burger was a little overdone but tasty, the pork chop was overcooked . YOU HAVE TO DO BETTER, Needs a floor manager who is aware of what is going on
