Xiquita is a highly anticipated restaurant that brings the vibrant flavors and rich culture of Mexico City to the Mile High City. Inspired by the diverse culinary traditions of Mexico, Xiquita offers a unique dining experience that celebrates the country's indigenous ingredients and cooking techniques. Led by Chef Erasmo Casiano, the restaurant's name, Xiquita, is a playful twist on "chiquita," a term of endearment for Casiano's mother, and a nod to the indigenous languages of Mexico.

At Xiquita, diners can expect to find dishes that are both authentic and innovative. The menu features a variety of traditional Mexican dishes, such as tamales and tortillas, made with locally sourced ingredients. Guests can also enjoy unique creations like the Infladita de Carne Apache, a play on steak tartare, and the Tikin Xic, a Yucatan dish featuring fish grilled over charcoal in a banana leaf.

Wonderful experience. Chef Renee has done amazing things with the menu. Each plate was presented beautifully, and all every bite was delicious.

We went to Qiquita for our 20th anniversary dinner. Our initial reaction was that it was a bit too loud for our taste. To be fair, we experience that a lot so it's likely us, not the place. We had an 8pm reservation and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and helpful. Our server helped us navigate the menu and made some excellent recommendations. We loved the way our dishes came out one by one so we could experience and discuss as most were fairly unfamiliar to us (Ancient Mexican). The Margaritas were excellent as well. I highly recommend giving this one a try!

Very disappointed had a 7 pm reservation and they were already out of the top three entrees we tried to order. One of the items we did order the waiter brought the wrong dish because he wrote down the wrong item. Not a good experience and we won’t be back

Xiquita, te sobrepasaste! This is a love story of food and flavors. Hoja Santa is everything- smoky dreams of quesillo con hongos, a tostadita de ceniza that is everything. The Castacan is all you could wish a pork belly to be- tender and filling, the salsa was just spicy enough to wake up my senses. I highly, highly recommend it it is a new favorite in Denver!!

One of, if not the most unique dinners I've had in the U.S. The other 4 in our party agreed. Wonderful and different ingredients created great flavors. The eye appeal on the 7 dishes we had was outstanding. The service is excellent. Every server had a full understanding of each dish and the product knowledge was enough to let us have them pick 7 different plates for us. All winners. Highly recommend this wonderful dining expirence.

Yummy again! This place doesn’t disappoint your taste buds! They say share plates but then my husband and I fight over the food. 😂 Great service, friendly staff, and consistently delicious food!

Food interesting for presentation points, albeit somewhat bland or average in terms of taste. Similar service issues as many Denver locations, expect to have 2-3 plates of food before your glass of wine arrives. Pork main is served with a rind of inedible/ dry pork skin around the small cutlet, not sure why that is included or not better presented given the number of $ signs associated with the place. Tamales honestly better at the pearl st market/vendor. Was meh. Probably won't go again.
