Xacalli is a Chef Driven Modern Mexican Restaurant that highlights regional Mexican cuisine. Located in historical mining town of Silverado Canyon, in eastern Orange County next to the cities of Orange, Irvine and Tustin.

The community of Silverado with her majestic mountains, state designated scenic highway is a hidden gem located at the boundaries of Cleveland National Forest.

Xacalli's aim is to bring people and food together with authentic dishes that are modern and visually beautiful as well as entice your taste buds. We serve plates with the intention of sharing family style. Whether at the bar or in our dining room, we aim to showcase our passion for service excellence. Executive Chef Vincent Espinoza sources quality ingredients to create a seasonal menu alongside a craft bar. We are thrilled to welcome you to Xacalli for dinner + craft cocktails in our rustic and friendly restaurant.

Outstanding on every level! The service was fantastic and the food was flawless. Amazingly flavorful. This restaurant is doing everything right; it was a delight to dine here and we cannot wait to return. What a hidden gem!

Excellent upscale Mexican food! Highlights were the tartare, ceviche, and the Basque French toast. (We were there for Sunday brunch). Cocktails are wonderful as well!

Whereas the brunch we had a few weeks ago was fantastic, we were disappointed in the dinner. It took 35 minutes for our drinks to be delivered and the food was pricey for small portions (even the large plates) and took a long time to come. One small plate never came and they brought it after the other food and it was undercooked. (Tiger prawn shrimp). The second round of drinks also took forever and was delivered after our meal was finished.

Located in Silverado Canyon, this cozy hideaway is perfect for date night! Food was off the charts delicious! Should be considered for a Michelin star (I've eaten at worse tasting Michelin starred restaurants). Service was attentive. Ambiance was romantic in the bar area, especially at sunset in the summer. Overall, fantastic experience! I'd definitely go again.

Everything was amazing, down to the littlest details. I went with one of my friends to celebrate her birthday. When they found out it was her birthday, they had a hand written card all ready to go when she came in. The food and drinks were delicious and I can’t wait to come back!

Wasn’t sure what to expect but the food was excellent and unique. The place was very loud with very few people in it. The place just echos. Food pacing is slower but worth how fresh it is. Very cute date spot.
