   One of the best steak houses with healthy sides and salad options that doesn’t make you feel guilty even when counting your calories. Tried the dessert cheese cake which was so good and nothing like your traditional cheese cakes you experience. Very lite and not too sweet. Definitely will go back. I just wish they take you exactly as your reservation time since it took another 20 -25 minutes til we were seated.

   My daughter use to go to visitation academy for 3 years of middle school. Now it turned into a hotel and the chapel where they used to do service of light is not Wye Oak Tavern. It is bit surreal when we walked in to see the change , as we are familiar with the school layout. They did a great job to maintain the structure and character of the original building and yet makes it upscale and very interesting. The experience is delightful, the food service and environment is excellent. Highly recommend and will be back !

   This was our second time. Our first time was very nice, except for how loud it was. So, we asked to sit as far from the bar as possible. When we were seated, we asked the hostess why we couldn't sit in the area further from the bar and were told that it was only for groups. A few minutes later, the same hostess sat a couple in that area. The first wine that was ordered had been opened too long and we asked for another one. Server asked what other wine we wanted, and we picked another one. The second one was fine. This meant that the intention was to serve the first wine to someone else. Glad we said something instead of just having a glass of wine that was stale. The chicken was very overcooked, and the collard greens were not tasty at all. All in all, it will be a long time until we try this again. Not impressed at all.

   Bravo!!!! Food at the highest levels of the game! So creative and tasty. Service is wonderful..top notch!

   The Salmon was divine and cooked to perfection. Loved the presentation! Our server was super accommodating, and well acquainted with the menu. The side portions were delicious and plenty for 2.

   Your pastry chefs outdid your chefs. Pastry was beautifully presented and delicious. Our main dish was very salty tonight. I ordered the swordfish and was looking forward to the brown butter lemon caper sauce over the fish. It sounded so yummy...only to be disappointed with the presentation on a very hyped restaurant. The presentation, without care by the chef, who presented the fish with so much salt and literally looked like the fish was thrown on plate. I'm truly disappointed. My girlfriend's taven burger was salty, as well. Fresh fries were over salted. Your waiter Craig saved your restaurant. The service was great!

   Great food from start to finish !!! Started with the shrimp and grits cocktail, moved on to the rockfish as one entrée and the salmon as another with mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts as sides to share. So delicious. Somehow we found room for the Apple dumpling dessert, so glad we did. Great experience !!!

   We loved the savory cheesecake appetizer which was perfect to share for 2. My husband really liked the filet which was cooked perfectly and I loved the rockfish although I was surprised that the portion size was very small. I don’t like large portions of anything so for me to think this says something. We shared the broccoli rabe as a side and it was more than enough for 2 people. My husband ordered the chocolate cake to go and he thought that it didn’t have much flavor. The service was outstanding. The bar staff did a great job keeping up with the very packed bar and the hostess and our server were very impressive and professional. We look forward to going back.

   The best steak I’ve ever had. Way too noisy and chaotic unfortunately. I’ll go back for the food but it’s not a place you can talk to your fellow table mates. You literally can’t even hear the servers. And all the servers are running around. If you have to get up to visit the restroom you may get run over. In most restaurants a server will stop and let you pass in front of them, but not here. You better get out of the way!

    Fantastic service and delicious food and drinks! We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. We sat in the mezzanine which I would highly recommend, the restaurant was packed and quite loud, less so upstairs though. Our food and drinks were fabulous, the only slight detractor was our choice of dessert, just wasn't what we had hoped for, it looked amazing, but didn't have as much flavor as we thought it might. Would definitely go back though!!
