I booked online reservations, as I was coming in from Tennessee to visit family I had not seen in years. It was totally random but absolutely the best decision! Jason made our evening unforgettable. From his menu suggestions to his knowledge and pride in the building and its history, he was on it! The food was wonderful and the atmosphere unique and charming. It was an overall exceptional experience.

This place is a hidden gem! Excellent food and great saloon-style atmosphere. Well, worth a visit!

Enjoyed all at Wunsche Bros; the place their svce and of course the food. Great choice for Houstonians !

First time in Texas and we wanted to dine somewhere memorable, we chose the right place! Love the history which was explained in detail by our wonderful server Patience (yes that’s her name🙂), what a doll! And she was skilled with the menu items, recommending all wonderful dishes. We had the chicken fried steak (share it, huge), potatoes were amazing, appies of sauerkraut balls and beer bread were great, so sad we didn’t have room for the whiskey cake! Next time. Thank you Patience for your amazing Texas hospitality, it was an outstanding experience

Great food and a fun time. All the food was excellent, desserts were delicious and drinks were well made. Top notch experience all around.

Amazing atmosphere and service. Menu selections were top notch. The history of the building presented well and interesting to all in our party. The food was fresh and delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection and all of our sides where awesome. We were greeted and seated quickly and service was on point through our visited. We will definitely be back!

We had a table for eight, it was ready when arrived. We ordered numerous items from the menu, everything delicious. Service outstanding attentive. Had concerns due to a dietary restriction, staff on top of it. I can't wait to go back. Everyone in our party had a very good experience.
