Great lunch with visiting family! Good food and excellent service. They serve good chicken salad, substantial portions and a generous glass of wine!

Very busy but food was amazing! And Renee was the best! The fried green tomatoes were the best we ever had as was the burger!

Loved the ambience and the seasonal menu. Drinks were fabulous. My friends loved their chicken pasta dish and my pork tenderloin was good - was a little bit dry, but all the fall vegetables that accompanied it were delicious.

Perhaps the "stars & planets failed to align" for us this past Thursday evening, or perhaps there is a quality of service issue at Wren. Upon our arrival at 7:30 p.m., we were seated at a table with nothing on it (no silverware, napkins, glasses, etc.) Our server plopped down a bottle of still water and two glasses still hot and wet from the dishwasher and two cocktail napkins. I ordered a cocktail and my wife ordered a sparkling water and a hot tea. My cocktail was delivered, then my wife's sparkling water came out, again with another glass still hot and wet from the dishwasher. She asked for another cooler glass which was never delivered. We ordered our entrees and I requested that a glass of wine be served with my entree. I was nearly done with my cocktail when my wife's hot tea finally arrived. The delay was purportedly because they had to boil the water. No sweeteners or milk/cream were provided and had to be asked for. I was done with my cocktail (which I'd "nursed") by the time my wife took the first sip of her tea. 15 minutes after we'd ordered, the server came back to tell me that my dish (salmon) was not going to be served per the menu (on a shrimp risotto base with assorted veggies and a lemon basil burre blanc) because they had run out of the risotto. I was offered the option to choose another dish or accept mashed potatoes with the salmon. I chose the latter. Our entrees came out and our server placed the plates on our table. As she was about to walk away, we said, "And may we have some silverware and napkins?" My salmon arrived with a pile of mashed potatoes next to it, no veggies to speak of, and a little paper serving cup with burre blanc in it (which I had to pour over the salmon). My wife's entree (mahi mahi) arrived over-cooked and dry and she only ate 1/3rd of it. I was half-way done eating the slab of salmon and pile of mashed potatoes when my glass of wine finally arrived. Needless to say, we didn't stick around for dessert.

The food was excellent. I had Sam's Pasta, which was a delicious seafood medley in a cream sauce over linguine. We brought friends of ours for the first time and they loved it. Our server, Erin, was great.

Very pleasant sever and nice interior decor. However, the pecan chicken was pretty bad. The breasts were overcooked and dry. Plenty of pecans but very sweet and the menu did not warn of that. Potatoes were blah and broccolini was just broccoli florets . Wine selection was fairly mediocre. Many better options around town.
