I’ve been here several times and I have to say it’s one of the few restaurants that get the meat temperature consistently right … delicious food and John delivered a superior service tonight. Thank you so much! ☺️

Wedge was a bit too dill heavy but everything else was great! Chicken sando, chopped salad, club sando. All were solid

Everything was awesome. Food. Drinks. Ambiance. The service was particularly great. They were busy with private parties and still managed to accommodate us adding to our large group. We really appreciated that.

Our experience here was not so good this time. We did not feel welcome to start with. The hostess had no smile on her face, just asked if we had a reservation. Then she took forever finding it. No pleasantries at all, and did not thank us for coming. We don't think she enjoys working there. First thing our server asked us was what we came to Wren & Wolf for. I've never been asked that in all the years I've eaten at any restaurant. What else would you do at a restaurant except to eat? Then he proceeded to tell us that there were already 3 Beef Wellingtons on order before us, without bothering to find out if that's even what we might order. After taking our order, he reached over across my lap to take the cocktail and desserts menus from us, which were between us on the booth. We put them there so he would not take them. Very rude, and not a good start! Fortunately, the manager did come by, and was surprised to find out what happened. Service did improve thereafter. The Hiramasa crudo was good, but we felt the avocado Caesar imparted much better value. The lobster tagliatelle was a struggle to eat. First, the lobster was chewy and overcooked -- unforgivable rookie mistake. It was still in its shell, so we had to crack and peel it ourselves. No high-end restaurant would commit that sin. The tagliatelle was perfectly cooked, but combining it with the chorizo was a mistake -- hard to chew and inedible. The tenderloin was cooked medium rare with a good sear. But it was dry -- very disappointing. How could Teddy and Katie Meyers allow this poor level of cooking represent them? Fortunately, we ended with a good note. The kitchen was able to roll out an affogato, though not on the menu. Huge scoops of vanilla ice cream with a reasonably good espresso. And our server did not forget to ask if we needed parking validation. In the end, he was able to keep pace even though the restaurant was filled almost to capacity.

Lighting is low so seeing the menu is a challenge so bring your phone to bring it to life Our waitress was awesome her knowledge of the menu was great along with her smile and attention to detail After the superb breads and cocktails the dinner was brought to the table after noticing my wifes plate was missing and her looking a lil puzzled at me i asked the server where her meal was he looked as puzzled as she did after a 5 min delay the manager appeared to notify us sorry her choice was not available at this time (wow) And he would be glad to bring her a menu so she could make another choice. My question is When was this item not available, and why was it brought to our attention at the time the meal was brought to the table . In my opinion very unprofessional from the kitchens staff for not voicing this at time of accepting the ticket And then management thinking a couple of cheese dumplings would make everything ok (Come on man) So our first trip here was a lil quirky & mis managed, on a good note the Porter House was delightful and enough to share with my starving wife thank god:) after discussion the tab was adjusted TY

This place was AMAZING!!! The food, cocktails, atmosphere, and vibe was unmatched. I will definitely return when visiting AZ. It's a nice size establishment but very busy, I would strongly suggest planning ahead. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection!!! Perfect for date nights, or girls/guys night out on the town!!
