Dine from our Bistro Menu for some lovely dishes at amazing value. 2 courses for £17 or 3 for £20. It’s available from 12 until 6:30 from Monday – Thursday and before 4pm on Fridays. We’ve worked hard with our chefs to strip things back and keep things really simple. It’s good, hearty, tasty stuff served to you by a team who love what they do. And sometimes you don’t need anything more than that. Our menu changes monthly and is subject to availability, please go to our website or check social media for updates.

I love this restaurant not only for the delicious, fresh food but the staff -Clara always greets us with a warm welcome. All the staff have mastered that perfect balance of being friendly and attentive as well as giving you space to enjoy your meal. This is my third time there, my friend and I have been two years in a row to celebrate our birthdays which are in January. I love the fact that the food and staff are quality without the stuffiness or pretence which would put me off. It feels like a special treat each time we visit! Fabulous place.

There were three of us, travelled to Liverpool from Chester with Christmas vouchers. Starter ok Ordered mains I ordered cod, the waitress suggested as a side I should have cheesy chips My wife chose well done roast beef We waited 40 minutes after the starter plates were cleared before our main arrived. At one point a waitress asked which course we were waiting for The mains arrive. The waitress who recommended the cheesy chips stated 'oh we dont do it on a Sunday its just 6 days a week, sorry. would you like something else!!!!! But my main had arrived, how long would I wait. surely she should have come back when the order was placed. Also my wifes beef was pink, so we sent that back. Jus got sorry,sorry,sorry. When my wifes food came back, i had nearly finished. What a joke. Also he yorkshire pudding was burnt, so we sent that back. Ruined the whole meal. SERVICE WAS SHOCKING We were offered a free desert, but we just wanted to leave. The the bill arrived with the service charge added. You would think they would have the intelligence to take it off, to avoid an argument , the cheek . So I politely asked the waitress to remove it, and explained I would be giving a review accordingy, it was so bad. Driving back to Chester, I thought cant be bothered to write a negative review, but you have asked me for it so here it is. Big fans of Elite Birtos, love Sticky Walnut, the White Horse, and burnt truffle, no complaints, we are regulars , but no more , this was awful, sorry

We really enjoyed our breakfast, husband said it was one of the best he’s ever had & it was full of flavour. We both had the Wreckfast and I agree. Our sons had the XL sandwich and enjoyed them too.

Food was good and service was excellent but close to door so every time the door opened it was very cold - a flimsy curtain is not sufficient!!!

Normal high standard of food and service at Wreckfish. Ideal to cheer you up in in cold windy January evenings

Very good food and the service is excellent and the staff so friendly. Perfect location between Hope Street and Liverpool One. We've had breakfast, lunch and dinner both prix fixe and a la carte. Highly recommended.

I've eaten at Wreck(fish) five times, over the last few years. Always loved it. Last night was really disappointing though, across all 3 courses
