Dine from our Bistro Menu for some lovely dishes at amazing value. 2 courses for £17 or 3 for £20. It’s available from 12 until 6:30 from Monday – Thursday and before 4pm on Fridays. We’ve worked hard with our chefs to strip things back and keep things really simple. It’s good, hearty, tasty stuff served to you by a team who love what they do. And sometimes you don’t need anything more than that. Our menu changes monthly, please go to our website or check social media for menu updates.

Lovely Sunday lunch, great choices from traditional roast, fish to veggie. Great service as always, we always prefer tables on the ground floor. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely wedding anniversary meal here with our son and his girlfriend as it’s a favourite to visit when in Liverpool. Always a warm welcome and the service from the waiting staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant was full and very busy therefore on this occasion the service of each course was very slow so much so we didn’t have time to enjoy 3 courses as we had to leave for a show. The food however was excellent as always and we had an enjoyable evening.

Booked online to dine at Wreck in Liverpool. Easy process. Chose focaccia for the table. Springy and airy. Good addition of salt and rosemary with olive oil. Partner and I chose black pudding and goats cheese to start. Both delicious and nicely presented. Mains were roast cod loin with mushroom, and chicken schnitzel with cabbage and yoghurt dressing. Again nicely presented, a substantial but light course. Desserts were Eccles Cake and Crème Brulée. Eccles Cake caramelised outer and spiced juicy currents. Crème Brulée beautifully creamy and thin layer of crunchy caramel. Beverages - Americano; hot, strong and good punch. Lady Smith (their own brew?) - citrus and juicy tropical flavours. Pale ale, apparently good. Servers prompt and met needs. Credit to all staff. Good experience. Paid c.£100. Better value in terms of taking advantage of lunch/weekday evening options though. We visited Saturday pm.

The food was great. Took quite awhile to get our drinks. Now t too much attention on us until our 1st course arrived. It was a busy night

Excellent service and tasty food but extremely small portions. Price on menu was for basic dish, veg etc were at extra cost. We ordered a side of chips which had very few chips. Cost for two medium glasses of white wine was £20.

Breakfast for six including two children. Excellent choice of foods from full English to porridge. Variations from menu catered for.

Server very attentive and table excellent, as well as Wine of the Month recommendation, a white Rioja. Perfect.
