Tacoma’s newest waterfront restaurant, Woven Seafood & Chophouse, is a Roy Yamaguchi concept owned by The Puyallup Tribe of Indians. Woven celebrates a rich fusion of culinary traditions, honoring Yamaguchi’s Japanese heritage and pioneering Hawaii regional cuisine, along with the traditions of the Puyallup Tribe and the bounty of the Pacific Northwest.

The staff at Woven made our 40th anniversary very special. We were wished a Happy Anniversary by the hostess, the manager and our server. There was even a cute little sign on the table that looked artistically hand drawn. After our waiter, Zack expertly explained the menu we ordered the Black Cod and the Short Ribs. Both were exceptional as was the service.

Most importantly, we all enjoyed our meals. Today’s dining experience made more fans of Woven. Our only knock/ critique, the food delivery (appetizer and entree) was slower than anticipated.

An outstanding experience. The short rib dish, black cod, and hamachi are all signature Roy dishes, will return!

What a fantastic night with friends for the holidays. Zachary was one of the best servers we have ever had. Such an enjoyable experience. Food was stellar. Thank you Woven.

We had our business lunch at Woven and the food was amazing. The presentation of the food was beautiful, and it tasted as good as it looked.

Great food. Amazing food. Will defintely be back. We had the miso glazed cod and the short ribs. The tuna roll appetizer was amazingly fresh as well.
