Tacoma’s newest waterfront restaurant, Woven Seafood & Chophouse, is a Roy Yamaguchi concept owned by The Puyallup Tribe of Indians. Woven celebrates a rich fusion of culinary traditions, honoring Yamaguchi’s Japanese heritage and pioneering Hawaii regional cuisine, along with the traditions of the Puyallup Tribe and the bounty of the Pacific Northwest.

Looks great , not the warmest welcome, great seating, service was good , but very very slow, but they told you that, we ordered osters by the time we received them the ice had melted and osters were almost completely in the water, the dinner short rib was excellent but you have to be patient , no military discount only trible discount if you go there get there at 5 for dinner and order everything at once I suggest…..

Really enjoyed the creative takes on food pairings and sauces. The staff are incredibly friendly and we will definitely be back!

I will say the food is what you would expect from any of the Roy’s establishments. Seafood and sushi was very good. Service was slow especially with drinks - we ordered glasses of wine and two basic cocktails. One dish was late and they did comp it for us which we appreciated. We were disappointed with the slow service but most of all, charging us $5 for olives in a martini (yes, regular old olives). I’d have to have a pretty big craving for sushi to return.

Very welcoming from our entrance in to our server and others. The food was delicious and very beautifully presented.

This is an excellent new alternative to the old stand bys on Tacomas waterfront. Lovely setting, and perfectly executed food. Service was attentive and super friendly.

Excellent food choices, quality, flavor and taste. Good size portions. Seating felt a bit cramped for two persons in a booth.

We are known as the foodies of our family, and we love Woven. What do we love more than Woven? Patience, our server. She makes it feel like we are at home, being served by a family friend we have known for years. We will request Patience every time. 100/10 best server on the waterfront.

We had an 8:30pm reservation (for 2) & arrived 10 minutes early, the host stand was unmanned & the phone ringing off the hook for 5 minutes…good sign I thought, the place is busy. We were seated in the main dining area and our order was taken in an appropriate amount of time. The drinks & appetizer was served quickly; however, our main courses were not served for over an hour. A couple seated next to us, who arrived after us, were served & departed before we even got our meal. Our served was apologetic & updated us that our meals were the next to be played….but it was still another 10-15 minutes. After our meals were served, our server brought us another appetizer that she had ordered for us with the intention of bringing it to us while we waited but it wasn’t ready. They comped our initial appetizer, the food was good & our server was great but it was very noisy, and it took too long to be served. Sorry for not such a great review, but our experience was not what I was expecting from the reviews I read.
