Located on High St in the heart of historic Old Worthington, Worthington Tavern is a vibrant, locally owned restaurant, bar, and covered patio. Our timeless space inspires a joyful atmosphere and honors Worthington's history.

Our menu features made-from-scratch familiar favorites- all from the finest ingredients. Our bar enlivens your experience with a robust selection of original cocktails, great spirits, craft beer, and enticing wines. Whether it's brunch with old friends, dinner with family, or a night out celebrating, we look forward creating memorable experiences together.

Groups of 8+ guests be rung on a single check and will be subject to an automatic 20% gratuity

Our kitchen is closed from 3pm-4p Saturdays & Sundays.

A friend and I stopped by the Tavern for a quick Brunch and we simply loved the place. Service by Monique was excellent and the taste of the food smintense and delicious. I can't wait to return again and again to try more things on the menu, which is full of interesting dishes to please any desire and palate. Prices were moderate to high. But I think it's worth it. The cocktail menu is impressive! We had a great time.

The service at WT use to be very good. The last few times I have been there the service has become worse and worse. I was there a few days ago and once again the food came well before our drinks. We didn’t order any complicated drinks ( wine and beer). I would like to add that the restaurant was about 65-70% full so I wouldn’t expect there to be a delay in getting the drinks. This has happened the last few times I’ve been to the WT. it’s disappointing since this use to be one of our favorites and we could walk to. I think it’s time to try The Whitney House again…

Fantastic drinks !!! And THE BURGER …. So if the you know who that has that double decker had a millionaire tasting baby that was golden that is this sandwich !!! And the fries do no dissspoint! Sandwich of the day : Reuben type 4/5 due to sloppy sogginess too much wet slaw ? Maybe try an Italian slaw / with Kraut? The Cobb Salad per my friend delicious !!!! 🤤 Event Shrimp had zero seasoning :( Will be back

Great place to eat, the service and attention to detail in the food was incredible. Just wished they had better air conditioning. It was very hot inside with not much circulation in doors.

What a wonderful find! Started off the the meatball appetizer. It was so light and airy and the bread was a fantastic touch - order extra bread! The Mediterranean Puttanesca Pasta was delicious. Also had the special sandwich: pastrami.. yum yum and yum. Ended the evening with the cheesecake. Omg it was the best we ever had at a restaurant. Food came out too fast. We were still enjoying our appetizer when our meals showed up. So we did feel a bit rushed. Overall outstanding and will return. Hoping next time they slow service down a bit so we don’t feel rushed. Dined with 3 peoples and we were in and out of the restaurant under 60 mins. I usually like to enjoy my meal and take some time in between. Not have my food put in front of me while I’m still eating my appetizer. That’s the only thing they should improve on other than that the food is fantastic.

Cute little town and place! The food was great, Service was excellent. My only small complaint was we were sitting by the door and it was HOT! Otherwise great, would go back!
