Absolutely amazing experience! A huge thank you to the entire staff for creating a welcoming space and exceeding the highest standards of quality service! A very intimate setting and food with such heavenly flavors. We truly felt like we were transported to a restaurant in the heart of France.

This is a go-to restaurant when in San Diego area. The restaurant is bustling. The wait staff personable and ready to please. The meal was cooked perfectly and portion were right-sized.

Wormwood really excels in their appetizers and dinner entrees! Especially the steak was wow! Melt in your mouth good. I was impressed. The desert was okay, but a little too avant garde for my taste. Ambiance is great. Quaint. Overall, I recommend you try this place. Note that the portions are very small for American standards.

Dined here for the gourmet hour menu and was very surprised that we actually had options on that menu! My friend and I loved the cod and the very extensive absinthe selection. The service was very friendly and the ambience is really nice!

Service was outstanding. Not rushed. Super friendly. Beet salad was lovely and the tomato fig was very refreshing. The onion tart is very flavorful. The wagyu tartar has a smoky flavor which is very nice. The black cod and sauce was perfectly cooked and light. This was my second time and first time for my family. We sat outside which is so pretty. They provided us with little fans on the table. The live music was extra special. I will be back again. Thank you.

Great place. Went here for our wedding anniversary and tried the celebratory menu. The staff was incredible and the food was great. Even at that price point it was fairly priced. Live music was great, it wasn’t overly loud to where you couldn’t talk, it was enjoyable and we were sitting right next to the performers. The staff did everything they could to make our day memorable. Highly recommend.

Great food and service and loved the decor. Only criticisms, we sat at a table near the bar and some of the down lights were really bright and the music was really loud, otherwise, very enjoyable experience.

Our server, Kevin, was very knowledgeable when it came to gluten free options. I asked questions and there was zero hesitation. Our dishes were elegant and beautiful to the eye. 10/10

We requested to sit outside because the noise level is much lower than inside. We celebrated with a 6 course meal and each course was absolutely delicious! My favorite was the savory Madeline topped with caviar and the champagne was also very delicious! Overall had a great experience, but I would def only ever book if they had seating outside because inside is insufferably loud (IMO)

Wormwood never misses. Every dish and cocktail tastes amazing and the service is always on point. The staff are very friendly and passionate. Love this place!
