WOOD Restaurants offers a unique style of dining. We will be bringing complexity using various culinary influences while retaining our classic seasonal flavour combinations giving our guests an elegant, contemporary dining experience with a strong balance of flavours, textures and temperatures.

The Menu at WOOD will be served by the entire Kitchen and Restaurant Team led by Chef Patron Simon.
All bookings cancelled on the day will be subject to the full menu charge per person.
Bookings cancelled within 48 hours before the date of the reservation will be subject to a £30 charge per person.

This is the third time with been over the last few years and it still continued to impress us. The food was absolutely amazing (including excellent gluten free options), great atmosphere including music selection, loved the tailored cocktails to match and the staff very attentive to us and knowledge about all the dishes and wines available. We had a fantastic night celebrating a birthday, thank you all

Well cooked food, nice menu and good service. Not a particularly busy night but the ambience was also good. My only real criticism is the limited wine list, and lack of availability even from that (ie some wines not in stock).

Excellent visit to wood Manchester. I took my mum and dad to celebrate a birthday. They had never been before and absolutely loved it, the food, the restaurant and the service from the staff was all amazing. Thank you

First time at Wood for our wedding anniversary, the food was fantastic and the wine pairings were spot on. Service was great with very attentive staff. Simon himself was cooking and was a nice guy having a chat with us. Overall brilliant- recommended to family and friends

Anyone wanting a special dining experience should head to Wood Restaurant, they will not be disappointed. The taster menu coupled with the wine pairing was outstanding. Each course was explained in detail along with the wine and this made the experience more enjoyable. A shout out to the staff who were brilliant from start to finish, very attentive but not pushy, and Simon also took the time to say thank you as we were leaving. It was our first visit but not our last.

Stayed in Manchester from Scotland last weekend and booked Wood for dinner on our first night. Absolutely outstanding from the service, the setting, the food! Literally couldn’t fault a thing.. loved it so much we contemplated going back on the 2nd evening but ended up with other plans too far away from the restaurant to go. Will definitely be going every time we visit Manchester!

The food on the chef’s summer menu was excellent, creative and beautifully cooked. Dietary requests dealt with seamlessly. The sommelier was really creative , managing to persuade us that a Beaujolais would be a good choice. For the first time in our lives we actually agreed with him! Attentive but unobtrusive service. Very quiet on a Friday afternoon but otherwise outstanding.

We had the tasting menu with the paired wine which was excellent. Each course was so interesting and beautifully presented. The hake sashimi was outstanding. The staff were lovely and really knowledgeable.
