WOOD Restaurants offers a unique style of dining. We will be bringing complexity using various culinary influences while retaining our classic seasonal flavour combinations giving our guests an elegant, contemporary dining experience with a strong balance of flavours, textures and temperatures.

The Menu at WOOD will be served by the entire Kitchen and Restaurant Team led by Chef Patron Simon.
All bookings cancelled on the day will be subject to the full menu charge per person.
Bookings cancelled within 48 hours before the date of the reservation will be subject to a £30 charge per person.

Wow!! absolutely delicious, the food was amazing we celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary and it was well worth it. The flavours were exceptional. The staff were brilliant knowledgeable about the food and helpful when deciding just what to go for. A special mention to Daniel, he noticed we were celebrating and made sure we were in one of the booths rather than on a standard table and was attentive throughout our visit.

Absolutely first class fine dining culinary experience!! The food was next level, we haven’t ever eaten anything as spectacular before! Simon Wood’s vision is extraordinary! The staff were also first class, attentive, professional & very helpful. We didn’t feel at all rushed, total bliss. Thank you to all, you’re amazing, my husband throughly enjoy his belated birthday treat🤩

We arrived on a Saturday evening, for my wife’s birthday meal, it is really nicely done inside, the staff were all really welcoming and friendly. Restaurant had a nice buzz at the beginning, however there was filming going on which meant the music went off for the duration of our meal. This did cause a strange ambience whilst we ate. The food was fantastic, service was also! I would definitely eat here again, I think our full experience was just unfortunate.

Great food. Good service. Reasonable value for a special occasion. Unusual choice of wine for final pairing. Didn’t finish on a high. Would have liked option to choose another wine

Excellent food and unfussy but diligent service Sommelier very helpful It was a quiet night when we were there with only a third of the covers occupied Come on Manchester- support your new restaurants

Fine dining at its best. Staff and service are outstanding. The dishes are innovative, flavoursome and beautifully presented. They are imaginative and prepared with diligence using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Choice of cocktails, wines, champagne and beers. Always enjoy the whole experience. Lunch, evening meals and also chefs recommendation. Can book for parties. Smart casual - smart dress code. Ground floor access and toilet facilities upstairs and down.

First time visit to Wood, won't be my last. Food is beautiful and well presented. There were people dressed up & others in jeans & t-shirt. I was the former and didn't feel overdressed. It's a really welcoming environment to have a great meal.

A friendly welcome into a stylish space with an open kitchen area on the left. We had a drink in the lounge and walked through to comfy bank seating. There was a confidence giving smell of meaty smoke. The buttermilk bread starter with the good butter is delicious but beware, it's filling. Look out for a spectacularly delicious broccoli side and some Amazing pommes Anna chips. I had a lovely "all the pork" dish. Strangely short wine list but that saves time and ours was great.
