I had been looking forward to visiting Wolfox but was sadly underwhelmed by the experience. In my view 45 mins is too long to wait for a lunchtime order to be taken in a not especially busy place. Two staff did not seem to be enough especially as the demand for takeaway increased . Food average at best , though to be fair some meals looked really good and my complaint about wilting discoloured rocket the accompaniment to my rarebit was acknowledged and replaced plus a free drink by way of compensation.

Food was good however service was lacking. The staff seemed to be struggling to keep up with the tables that were there and it wasn't full. Some tables had to cancel their orders as even the drinks were taking too long. Small orange juices, would have expected at least a half pint glass. Waited a long time for my cocktail. You aren't able to swap something out when choosing a brunch so although I don't like mushrooms and asked to swap for avocado, apparently a food swap isn't possible and you have to order this as extra. When It came to paying, we had to wait quite a while whilst two staff members laughed and chatted to someone who was just chatting with them, it wasn't about anything serious so you would expect one of them to be able to break off and be able to allow us to pay in the meantime. Food is let down by the struggle the staff have with service.

Whether meeting a friend or a business meeting is a great place to have a quick meal or drink. Matcha is great with oat milk.

Went for lunch. Food was good. Waitress was lovely but service was poor. Bottle of water brought to table as ordered but no glass. Four mains brought to table but had to wait for the other two. One main served on chipped dish. Although we had all finished only some plates were cleared & rest left on table. Although only 1.30 pm only one choice of sliced cake left. Finished with teas & coffees - teas served but had to wait for coffees. May return for morning coffee & cake but won’t return for lunch

Was a little unsure of what to expect and had fears it would be all plant based but in actual fact was though small menu very balanced to cater for allergies and life choices of anyone I could think of, even a meat eating allergy free person like me.

We took my mum for Mother’s Day last Sunday. The food and service were amazing. Nothing was too trouble for the staff who happily went about their business efficiently with smiles on their faces. We have been a number of times now and will continue to go to in the future. Thanks.
