We got told we had to leave by a certain time as someone was booked after even though I booked 4 days before . Service was slow which also didn’t help . Felt like we couldn’t enjoy our food .

I have been to Wolfox many times since it opened. I enjoy the food and the atmosphere , that is why I keep going back. I am not sure if the management has changed but the service was not good during my last visit. The service was slow , it took quite a while to get to order our food, once we had finished our breakfast, we sat there with our empty plates for a long time with flies flying around us and the plates. It was not even very busy so I am not sure why the service as that slow. It is a shame but hopefully the service will improve. :)

First time visiting and to celebrate husband’s birthday with friends. Very good, will definitely return!

I had been looking forward to visiting Wolfox but was sadly underwhelmed by the experience. In my view 45 mins is too long to wait for a lunchtime order to be taken in a not especially busy place. Two staff did not seem to be enough especially as the demand for takeaway increased . Food average at best , though to be fair some meals looked really good and my complaint about wilting discoloured rocket the accompaniment to my rarebit was acknowledged and replaced plus a free drink by way of compensation.

Food was good however service was lacking. The staff seemed to be struggling to keep up with the tables that were there and it wasn't full. Some tables had to cancel their orders as even the drinks were taking too long. Small orange juices, would have expected at least a half pint glass. Waited a long time for my cocktail. You aren't able to swap something out when choosing a brunch so although I don't like mushrooms and asked to swap for avocado, apparently a food swap isn't possible and you have to order this as extra. When It came to paying, we had to wait quite a while whilst two staff members laughed and chatted to someone who was just chatting with them, it wasn't about anything serious so you would expect one of them to be able to break off and be able to allow us to pay in the meantime. Food is let down by the struggle the staff have with service.
