Food was nice but overpriced. Mains were served with very little garnishes. Staff very friendly. Overall we wouldn't go back

Iconic location with a good ambiance in the busy bar area. The Wolff Grill was a disappointment - food options were good but generally failed to deliver on quality. (Burger and scampi) Staff were attentive and friendly during our visit.

I chose this restaurant as a special treat for a birthday. On arrival, as we were a little early we would like a drink at the bar before our meal. We waited a good 6/7 minutes and were not served. I would go to say ignored as one off the drink stewards was looking at me as I was calling him over. We eventually gave up and went to our table to get a drink there. We would have liked a cocktail of the month but was put off as the waiter said they may take about 15 mins to make. So we had other drinks which took 15 mins to come. We ordered and the food came very quickly and was so well presented and tasted delicious. Everything about the meal including the desert was incredible. After dinner we tried our luck at the bar again. We were served but the barman was far from friendly, I’d even go to say he was grumpy and miserable. So overall. The food was great but the service in the bar could have been a lot better.

The food was excellent. Well presented and cooked. They took a lot of trouble with my husband's allergy. Service was erratic. We had trouble getting anyone's attention. When we arrived we ordered cocktails then wine with the meal. The wine came but no cocktails. We eventually cancelled these and just drank the wine. We had trouble getting anyone to take our order then waited a long time between courses. At one point a waiter said - now would you like a dessert or coffee and we had to explain that we had not yet had our mains! We had to ask 3 different waiters for our final bill. (including one who we asked twice who did not remember our original request). The restaurant was not very busy but the staff seemed preoccupied. It spoilt what should have been an excellent evening to celebrate my husband's birthday. I am just glad we chose not to stay at the hotel.

I had the chicken with Thyme & Rosemary roast potatoes My husband had the Salmon and skinny fries both were delicious. Also the Cheese Cake and Crème Beulah was to die for. I really good experience of dining all round.

We had a fantastic meal at the Wolf Grill restaurant, service was very good, all staff attentive and professional, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The cost of the meal and drinks surprisingly reasonable. Chris + Elaine from Sussex,

Fabulous meal had, first time eating in Wolff Grill, staff were lovely and very friendly, helpful in choosing wines, gave personal likes of the menu. I would have liked a chicken dish on the menu however plenty of other options to choose from.
