“This Must be the Place”

What's a Wolf Peach, you say? Well, it’s an interesting story.

What we know today as the tomato was first grown as a crop by the Aztec Indians. Spanish explorers brought the tomato back to Europe in the early 1500s.
In England and Germany, they were initially regarded as ornamental, but poisonous, a “wolf peach”. This is because aristocrats experimented with the tomato, but it ended badly—not due to the fruit, but because it was eaten on pewter dishes. Apparently, acids in the tomato leached the highly toxic lead in the pewter dishes, and caused illness and even death in many cases. The “common” folk, however, typically ate on wooden dishes, and had no problem!

Wolf Peach is a place for all of us regular folks. A little uncommon, a little unexpected, a little special. A place for everyone and anyone to enjoy a good hearty meal, scratch-made from Chef Luke Ostrowski.

Fantastic variety of unique cocktails & dishes. We sampled 5 different starters/small plates. Oysters were amazing! Can’t wait to return for special occasions and to treat out-of-town guests.

We had a wonderful birthday dinner and enjoyed the gnocchi, scallops, and short ribs! Cute little place with a five star dining taste and feel.

Wolf Peach NEVER disappoints. The food and service are always exceptional. The fried chicken, the gnocchi, the crudo, and steak tartar, delicious!!! Such a great spot in our sleepy little Parker.

Always great food and service. They take great pride in their food presentation and such a variety. Lucky to have this restaurant so close!

Solid dining experience from staff, to drinks to food. Don’t have any complaints. Plan to go back and try more items. Build your own charcuterie board is an awesome idea with lots of selections to pick from.

The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The burger was one of the best we’ve had in Parker. The scallop dish was also very good and fresh with an unusual pairing of ingredients that we really liked. Had one of the best mock tails I’ve ever ordered. Very friendly and attentive service. Great atmosphere. Came on a Monday afternoon, so can’t speak for the weekend experience yet. Definitely plan to visit here again soon.

Incredible flavorful food! Loved the charcuterie options. Service was so good and we so appreciated the indoor setting. We enjoyed our anniversary dinner very much!

We ordered the oysters, mushrooms, fried chicken, and bison ragu. Every item had an odd taste to them. The fried chicken was the best but the crust was a little overdone and it was swimming in sauce. The only thing we finished were the oysters and we would have preferred them plain. We asked about their gluten free options and found there was definitely cross contamination with the fried chicken, so if you have celiac disease this restaurant cannot guarantee no cross contamination. It was rather pricey and we were disappointed.

We had small plates. The food was outstanding, wonderful presentation as well. We plan on returning in a couple of days to try other things on the menu that looked inviting.
