Our barroom and restaurant is currently open Friday through Tuesday for dinner and features craft cocktails, light bites and a wide range of seasonal culinary offerings inspired by the bounties of local Hudson Valley farms. Not just farmers in name, we believe in supporting farmers and producers who share in our passion of growing and preparing the finest products imaginable.
*You will be allowed to cancel your reservation at any time but please keep in mind that no shows and reservations canceled within 3 hours of your reservation time will be charged $25 per person. Due to the high number of restaurant reservation cancellations and no shows, our cancellation policy is not flexible, and the fee cannot be waived.
*Pavilion seating is fully covered and sat rain or shine- In the event of inclement weather we cannot guarantee alternative indoor seating

We felt the host at this restaurant seemed to have a problem with us being a gay couple, we felt discriminated and uncomfortable to the point that we almost got up and left. That said the food was really good and so was our waitress.

We’re extremely sorry you left with this impression. It is our understanding that you observed a difference in how your anniversary was treated compared to another couple’s anniversary. Our booking system flagged both anniversaries, the only difference being the other couple had included an additional note which made theirs show more prominently. We recognized you had an anniversary after we acknowledged the other, and immediately went to prepare the same celebrations the other couple received. Unfortunately, it took some time due to a sudden wave of guests. We regret that the delayed attention made you feel uncomfortable and question if you belong here. You certainly belong. We're proud to support Hudson's LGBT community, and we're grateful for the opportunity to clear up what happened.

We were not familiar with this area and Tripadvisor did not steer us wrong. This is a great restaurant choice (although the seating is very close, with tables right next to each other). The vibe was energetic with a contemporary menu. It is not the cheapest option, but we felt well taken care of. Our server was attentive but didn't hover. She timed our appetizers and meals well (the meals didn't come out until we were clearly done with our salad). We happened to have a loud person next to us which was difficult with hearing issues. There is on street parking and what appears to be a neighborhood in transition (for the better). This is a great choice for couples and small groups. We enjoyed the signage that the oysters were all from our area (although we don't eat them). Cheers to the bartender who made fresh lemonade for my husband! Not many places serve this non-alcoholic drink FRESH. We would recommend this choice (check out the menu ahead of time as it may not suit all tastes). They did offer a dinner special in addition to the menu. Nice job Wm. Farmer and Sons.

Some dishes, like the crab and cucumber, lamb neck, and fish were absolutely delicious and worth the price. Others like the pasta and burger, were bland and did not stack up to the others. The four slices of bread, while delicious, were not worth the $10 price tag. Overall it’s nice restaurant with a great vibe, but with hit or miss dishes, be sure to order wisely.

Food and service were outstanding. We were seated outside in a lovely rustic setting. Everything exceeded expectations.

Excellent happy hour oyster’s and sparkling wine. Dinner was exceptional by pricey. A great bar cocktail place also. Food was made with nice flavors temperature and freshness. A good to place if in neighborhood.

Food, service and drinks were excellent. Oysters were terrific. The only negative is $10 for a few slices of bread! Sorry but that’s ridiculous as much as it is insulting.

When there is a heat advisory warning and the restaurant does not have air conditioner, it would seem that the owner would be responsible enough to close the restaurant. At the very lease the staff checking dining quests in should have notified us that air conditioner wasn't working, and given us the option to cancel our reservation without penalty. I sweated through my meal as did our waiter. Matthew was fantastic despite the conditions, and honored our repeated requests for ice.

We’re proud of our team for powering through and we thank all of the guests who chose to dine with us despite the heat. We offered guests outdoor seating when possible and the option to cancel their reservation at no charge because of the inconvenience. We regret if you were led to believe otherwise.
