Wine and Vineyard Tour with Dr. Grover Lee

Dr. Lee will enlighten the most knowledgeable person about wine and also educate the person that knows very little about wine. In a fun, lighthearted manner, Dr Lee will take you back into Europe, thousands of years in the world of wine, hundreds of years, into the new area of wine in the new world. You will learn some deep rooted concepts that developed long ago, which laid the base of the science, still growing in knowledge to this day. Light will be shown on many misconceptions, and the why behind these misconceptions. You will never look at another bottle of wine again, in the same way you do now after the tour. Available Sat & Sun (Rain or Shine) Tour starts at 11:30 am. Please check in 15 minutes before. Tasting Not Included ($20).

We sat on the patio and enjoyed a delicious meal as the sun sank behind the hills of the vineyard. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection, and I enjoyed each of the wines offered in the red flight. My husband’s salmon was also delicious. Service was excellent despite it being a busy Friday evening. When we decided on the spur of the moment to celebrate my birthday there, I was so glad to see that Open Table had availability! Outside tables are close together enough that you can hear other conversations a bit, but still far enough to offer a sense of privacy and romance. I highly recommend!

Wow, this Winery Tasting Room and Restaurant is a hidden treasure. We enjoyed wine tasting flight along with our dinner. All four of us chose different entrees, and all said they were wonderful. Highly recommend a visit to Wise Villa Winery and Restaurant! We will return for another meal soon.

This is one of my favorite places to go and a recurring go to when friends visit from out of town - I may also be slightly biased as I'm also a wine club member. This places is always good, in my experience, but this review will focus on my latest visit. We went during a mid day so it was quieter than normal, which I enjoyed. It was a gorgeous evening and we got to sit out front and watch the sun set over the vineyards during our meal. Gorgeous! The staff was all friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Food was amazing and I recommend everything I tasted: Mussels (first time for me, broth was amazing) Charcuterie plate Brussel sprouts Fries Filet Creme brulee (Friends had other entrees that I didn't try but they said was really good.) Wine is also really good, with a large selection.

Who needs to go to Napa, when we have Wise Villa Winery, here locally, in beautiful Loomis, California! Our waiter was outstanding, the food was amazing, And last, but not least, the wine was superb. We even purchased three bottles, we chose from the wine flight, to take home with us. My Husband and I love the atmosphere and we definitely will be back soon.
