Ordered an appetizer, only to be told it was unavailable, having earlier sold out. My date and I both ordered the pork chops. They were both fatty; mostly fat with barely any meat. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked and hard. The only thing we enjoyed was the sweet potato fries dusted with sugar and cinnamon, and came with two separate dipping sauces. I spent a $104 dollars, including tip. I am still angry that I chose to try this place on a date. The hostess was unfriendly, and thinking back, I wish we had went somewhere else after she failed to greet us. The space is beautiful, but the service and food leaves one wanting to stay in and cook in the kitchen.

Service was awesome, cocktails were incredible and food was really amazing too! I forgot how much I enjoy going to this restaurant until I’m there.

Great cocktail menu. We had the Burrata for appetizers and it was delicious. We had lamb chops and French onion soup for the meal and both were also very good. The eating area is wide open and close tables so the noise can get elevated and puts a slight damper on the ambiance. The service was fantastic and overall a fun evening and experience.

We sat outside on a warm autumn night. Corey was our server and she was great. She gave us recommendations for the best wine with our meals. I had the Salmon and it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the braised pork Banh Mi and he enjoyed it. We were celebrating his birthday and they have a fun sparkler topped vanilla ice cream we both enjoyed. We will definitely come back!

Server was amazing, had her before but she’s incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Very personable. The whole experience was amazing and she helped with it.

Tuesday night 6pm table seating. Waitress notified us that due to their tortilla shortage, fish tacos would not be an option. (They could have easily gone to the grocery store and bought tortillas, so this didn't really make any sense.) After ordering, waitress notified us that "they were out of the wagyu beef for the meat sauce" that my husband ordered, so he went with the seafood mac & cheese. My friend ordered a salad and added salmon. She instead got a salad, then they presented the FULL SALMON ENTREE to her later...that was a difference of $24 extra charged for a piece of fish that she ordered to be served on top of her salad. Same thing for me, except when they presented me with my salad I said, "I ordered salmon with my salad." So, they promptly brought me out a piece of fish. It was obvious that the waitress was unversed on the menu--she clearly didn't understand the option to add protein to a salad. Downtown Lawrence location is nice, the service was good, the food was good.

The lamb chops were amazing, and the coq au vin was delicious. We shared the purple sweet potato cheese cake, what a unique treat.

Great place to eat and drink! Had their “Jayhawk Juice” and it was delicious. Food was very good and the service was outstanding! Highly recommend!
