Fancy umbrella drinks tasty but expensive Food so salty and greasy almost inedible Decor gimmicky With so many wonderful restaurants here in San Diego, I would suggest spending your hard earned money elsewhere

I took a couple of 11 year olds in for happy hour to celebrate a birthday, and it was the perfect experience! The girls got some mocktails and had the burger and fries. The fries are as good as they get, and the dipping sauces were heavenly. I ordered fries for myself at happy hour and then at 5:00 when the full menu was available, I ordered a salad. The staff there was super friendly and very sweet to the girls. They brought out some beignets with a sparkler in them for the birthday girl as well. I mentioned in my online reservation where we would ideally like to sit, and they accommodated us exactly how I asked. I’m so glad we chose Wilma’s for the birthday dinner - I think it will be one the girls remember.

All was great until we tried to pay using an Open Table issued gift card for Wilma's. First we were told it was denied, then we were told they don't accept them and finally told it was denied again. Then we noted out bill had an extra drink added to the total that we did not order. Accidents happen on the bill although it seems this happens with increasing frequency. The inability to process an Open Table issued gift card properly is something the establishment needs to figure out. It is not my problem and is rather embarrassing in front of a guest or date. The vibe, decor, music and drinks at this place are outstanding. Please don't let basic service delivery get in the way of you being successful.

It was my 23rd birthday and my first time at Wilma’s Carousel Bar. I absolutely loved it! I didn’t get the name of our waitress but she was so sweet and very attentive. There was also a live band who sounded amazing. The food and drinks were delish. Overall, my experience was great and you should definitely go!

Loved our time at Wilma’s! From our time at the bar to our experience at the table. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful for our birthday celebration! Highly recommend! Food and drinks were great as well!

We came to celebrate a belated friends birthday. The atmosphere was amazing! We were lucky to come while they had a live vinyl dj and some drink specials. The food surpassed my expectations and the drinks matched. We had a wonderful time and all of the staff were so friendly. I will be going back, hopefully soon!

Parking in the area is atrocious. Give yourself time. Wilma’s has such a beautiful aesthetic. The bathrooms were a lot to take in… you’ll see. I opted for the shrimp and grits which wasn’t good. They kept the tails on and then fried them. Not the best choice but the drinks were delicious, everyone was so kind, and it’s such a cute place.

Came here to celebrate my partner’s birthday and had an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend. The food is good and the service was good.
