It was a great experience at Willie's. When we arrived, we were immediately given the choice of tables in different settings and once we picked one we were seated immediately. Service, from the very beginning was exceptional. We started with beverages and then ordered our meals. Starters in the meal were delivered quickly, and the staff checked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Some of my friends avoid Willy's because of the high prices, but as a dining experience, I think it's great.

The short ribs were tough and gritty. The carrots were not “al dente” as the waiter “explained” when I complained. I could not get a fork through my carrots. Basically raw. That’s not “al dente”, okay? Blanched at best. My husband’s flank steak was tastier. Our waiter was pleasant at first and then he basically disappeared and really was indifferent as to whether or not we were pleased with our meals. A young woman who came by our table provided better service. Not worth the price and if we were being really honest, we wouldn’t have left a tip. BTW - the woman who showed us to our table was very friendly and welcoming.

Our food was not very flavorful. I made the mistake of ordering the salmon tartare. The string beans were excellent.

Luis was amazing, so attentive, courteous and knew the menu. He was also very patient with our guest who is Celiac/gluten free. We will be back because of Luis.

The food and servicer is always excellent. And their 3-course menu option is a great deal with so many choices, it was hard to decide what to order! Also excellent wine selection by the glass that are reasonably priced. There's no wonder why they were so busy on a Sunday night!
