Seated in the grandeur of Peacock Alley, amongst the elegant sounds of the harp, Willard's traditional Afternoon Tea offers a tempting array of savory sandwiches, decadent pastries, and teas.

Afternoon Tea at Willard InterContinental Washington, D.C. takes place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with two seatings available at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Afternoon Tea makes for an elegant way to celebrate a special occasion. Contact willardtea@ihg.com for more information for groups of ten and more.

Amazing! Harpist was playing beautifully. We had the fall menu and it was delicious. Like most teas, it doesn’t seem like much food but it is so filling. Highly reccomend

I was disappointed with the desserts. Only one tasted ok. The others were not good. The scones and sandwiches were okay. The experience was nice but it would be better if the food was better.

Some of the sandwiches were too salty, but the scones were very tasty. Good selection of teas, the spicy chai was very good. Good service from Deepak. A bit noisy, couldn't appreciate the harp music. Beautiful decor

What a delicious and decidedly elevated afternoon tea experience. The harpist was the cherry on top - loved it!

I was very disappointed. Afternoon Tea is served in a large hallway off conference rooms/ballrooms and the lobby restrooms. People were constantly going down the hallway, sometimes in large groups. Several waiters took care of us and none of them did a good job. From not knowing what the types of Tea sandwiches were being served, to missing cream on the table and then questioned if we wanted to put cream in correct type of tea and having to ask for clean plates.
