Join us at Willard InterContinental Washington, D.C. for a special Mother's Day Afternoon Tea on Sunday, May 12. Indulge in unlimited afternoon tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts, along with bottomless champagne, mimosa, and bellini.

You will be seated in the recently renovated Crystal Ballroom, the most iconic room in the hotel, and seatings will be offered at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Do not miss this chance to treat your loved ones to a delightful afternoon and to create a new tradition.

$165 per adult | $85 per child (5-12 years of age)
(not including tax and gratuity) (a 24% service charge will be added)

Each seating will have a time limit of 2 hours.

Mother’s Day Tea was beautiful. I am pleased with the event and will come back in the future. I was also happy that parking was validated.

Beware the 24% service charge and the 10% sales tax that is charged on the entire bill, inclusive of the service charge. So tip and tax works out to roughly 36% or the brunch price. Unless you really enjoy champagne, or want to wait in line multiple times for a tiny serving of caviar, I don’t think the price is worth it.

As always the event was a delight. Just a slight concern at the omelette station. We didn’t seem to be heard or was viewed as being a bother to one of the chefs. Thank goodness for her team member who was very gracious and accommodating.

This brunch was more than food, and libations… it was a wonderful dining experience, and worth every dollar. With our more casual approach to living, the art of fine dining has become a lost art. Not so at the Willard Easter Brunch! The food was plentiful and beautifully displayed. Our elder aunt required some assistance to get to the dining room. Staff were most accommodating in providing assistance. The wait staff attended to your every need, from providing your first mimosas, to discreetly folding your dinner napkin in your absence. The harpist provided a calming backdrop to our dining. Her repertoire included Classic Motown, John Legend, and classical favorites. It seemed as though for this brief moment in time, people from a range of backgrounds, ages, and ethnicities basked in the glow and ambiance of the Willard.

Easter Sunday Brunch at The Willard is a truly special experience to celebrate a holiday! The menu offerings are plentiful and expertly prepared.
