This is a restaurant trying to be what it isn’t. The positive reviews are so inaccurate I felt completely misled by them. The first thing I noticed as I entered the restaurant was that the photos were so touched up that they misrepresented how the place really looked. It was loud with a DJ playing music as the ambient music. Service was no better than at Denny’s. Wait staff are not trained properly. Wine opened and poured without tasting. Timing of appetizers and salad was bad. No fresh ground pepper for the salad. Entree was cold. My pork chop was served in a bowl so it was hard to cut. The pork chop was piled on top of sides so that everything was a mishmash - no individual distinct flavors. We had to keep asking for silverware after they removed the used ones. For a $300 meal, this was a complete waste of money for both the food and experience. There was no value for this meal. I would not recommend this place. I will not return.

The food was yummy, as usual! The service there is normally good but last night was not at all. Our server barely checked on us, only two meals came out and the 5-6 minutes later the other two came but still didn’t see our server… we had to pour our own wine. The service was bad. The loud street performer was terrible. It really impacted being able to hear a conversation. He has to go. The bus boy was incredibly helpful and hard working.

This continues to be one our favorite restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is always exceptional.

It took the server 30 minutes to even acknowledge us or give us water although everyone around us had been served. Then after we ordered they got my order wrong and i had to reorder which they then forgot about. I had to ask about my order and then they finally brought it out. Service was not good, food was decent.

Our charcuterie was sever but no plates were provided until I went to the host stand. There was a street musician on the corner blasting weird music that was audible on the patio.

Great NY Steak. The Pancetta Mac and Cheese was also excellent. Free corkage for the first bottle of wine is a great benefit to eating there.

Something was off this time around. It was Thursday 8/29/24 dinner was at 630pm - wasn't that busy at all. Overall a great place. I think it was a night of distractions that might's caused some issues. - Ordered a Filet Mignon w/ Fire roasted grapes & raspberry demi-glaze from the signature menu (Medium Rare). Came out well-done. Scorched - Business partner ordered the NY Strip w/ Peppercorn Sauce (Medium). Came out - Well done and also scorched. - Appetizers & drinks were perfect. Not sure what happened w/ the steaks. I've been here many many times and never had a problem before. Mayne it was an off night or distractions? - Overall - I wish Mama's Meatloaf was still on the menu. I miss that dish.
