We are a small, family run restaurant since 2002 specialising in carefully sourced Aberdeen Angus beef from Scottish small highland farms, cooked simply but with flair and attention to detail.
Our emphasis is on high quality local ingredients and fresh produce from the best of local suppliers. Beef is selected, prepared and hung for us by Award wining "John Gilmour" of Macmerry master butchers since 1946. Fresh fish are delivered daily by Calum Sinclair and J.K Thompsons. West coast Mussels are delivered fresh daily by "Sea Mcgee". Our venison comes from wild Perthshire deer, lamb from the Scottish Borders. Artisan and farmhouse British cheeses are supplied by renowned Edinburgh cheesemonger, Iain Mellis and dairy produce from Fife Creamery. We take pride to cook everything fresh in our own kitchen daily.
We have outside seating arrangements for walk-Ins only.

Wonderful food, atmosphere and hosts. Celebrated our last evening in Edinburgh and Wildfire did not disappoint.

2nd time visiting. We based our decision to visit either Edinburgh or Glasgow solely on being able to dine here again. We weren’t disappointed and will probably come back again next year. The service is always amazing, the food selection is delicious and always cooked to perfection, the ambiance is relaxed. It’s not noisy so you can dine comfortably and enjoy your partner’s company. We love Wildfire. It’s our favorite place to visit and dine in Edinburgh.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The food, service, atmosphere were all amazing. Literally can’t fault it. A hidden gem.

Cozy little place. Need reservations. Food is so good (especially the steak) that we returned a second time. Only drawback is if you want a Martini, you’re in trouble. You will end up with a “single” or a “double” in a short glass. How they measure is a mystery but it will be gone after your first sip.

It was a lovely location and the food was delicious they helped us celebrate our anniversary wonderfully! The food was delicious I would highly recommend them!

Filet Steak was cooked to perfection staff where first class and very friendly only small issue was the Garlic bread cheap oven baked and to much salt on the chips other than that it was well worth the visit and would definitely go back

The staff here are incredibly kind and attentive. We loved our food. The soup of the day was earthy and yummy, tomato mushroom. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and presented with broccoli and tasty mashed potatoes. I found the ambience enchanting- small, cozy and warm.
