   We took 4 additional guests with us this visit, they gear how I rant and rave about the restaurant, the brunch board along with and in addition to the dinner board. My spouse and I are foodies, we look for food that is Consistently well prepared, presented and provides a value to what we are paying.today’s visit for 6 adults was for brunch, we arrived early , we were promptly seated in what would have been a great booth umIF it was clean, it was obvious that the previous customers could not get their food into their mouths and left samples on the floor under the table and us was not clean, the host moved us promptly prior to our other guests arriving and the afternoon continued with great forms, endless mimosas and bloody Mary’s and amazing company. Everything went fine until it was time to leave, the hotel offers valet parking with a 2 hour limit, we went over the limit and the additional fee was $26, now I just spent $375 inside for brunch for 6 adults, so $26 was not the issue, I was told. By the attendant I had to go inside to the front desk and pay the additional fee, so I did without hesitation, then I was questioned by the valet attendant weather I paid, and he went inside to the front desk and needed to validate that I paid the fee, I lost it! I became obnoxiously loud in the lobby confirming my card was indeed charged for the $26, I let everyone know I was humiliated and confirmed you have lost me as a customer. By no means was ut the money, it was questioning my honesty and integrity. I’m done !

   We had the Shrimp Penna ala vodka sauce & the pineapple chicken stir fry. They were both very good and my picky eater loved the penne!! The place wasn’t overly crowded, we did make reservations earlier in the day to secure a table, though. Staff was all very nice.

   We started with the key west shrimp ($19) and the coconut conch fritters ($15). The shrimp were good, the fritters were a little gummy but no more so than most restaurants. The seafood diavolo ($42) and mahi mahi ($29) were both well prepared. This restaurant has an automatic 18% gratuity added to every check, which is shown on the menu, but in rather small print and at night outside, it was hard to see the menu that well. So we left a 25% tip ($32) on top of the bill which already included a $19 tip. We did not notice that until the next day. When we went back and explained the situation the manager said it would be difficult to give us a refund since a day had passed by but said he could give us a credit if we wanted to eat there that night. We already had dinner plans and were leaving the next day but I asked f we could get the credit for breakfast the next day. He agreed and that is what we did. We were happy with that solution. He also mentioned that the server should have circled the tip that was already included which would have been helpful.

   Lynn was a fantastic server! We sat on the terrace, weather was perfect. Recommend the bowls, freaky fries, and bottomless mimosas. You can't go wrong with any brunch item. Just avoid the brunch board. Overpriced.

   Food and service were outstanding! We come back here every year when in Ft. Lauderdale - usually twice during our 5 day stay!

   The restaurant was lovely the service was great We loved the view of the ocean we enjoy the farm to table experience they provide.

   The hostess informed us that they were understaffed when we arrived and asked us to wait 10 to 15 minutes before she was able to seat us. The waiter greeted us almost 15 minutes after we were seated and we placed our right then. We could see that the waiter was trying very hard to provide quality service. The food (a burger and a sandwich) was delivered to the table an hour after we had been seated. The food was ok but not worthy of an hour wait. After we finished eating, the bill arrived with an automatic 18% gratuity added on plus a line to add an additional tip.

   A solid 3 stars. The location and the view is amazing if you sit outside. Honestly this is probably the main reason to come here. The service is very slow and the food and drinks are mediocre. We came for brunch and I had one of the breakfast bowls, my friend had the eggs Benedict - both were standard, nothing special but the view + breakfast was definitely nice. The server appeared to be the only one serving the entire outside for a Sunday brunch so he seemed to be a bit overwhelmed. Overall I would come back for the bowl and the view, the drinks are not great so stick to wine or beer.
