The food is was the best part of the our visit. We ordered the potstickers to start and they arrived quickly, hot, and with nice flavor. We followed that up with Sea Bass Cha Ca, Fragrant Duck, and a side of Bok Choy. The Sea Bass dish was surprisingly good. The spice blend was progressively sweet, sour, with a lingering trace of heat. The Bok Choy was a great add-on and the meal would not have been complete without it. Thanks to the server for the recommendation. I’m not a fan of the restaurant’s design and general ambience. It has the feel of a pop-up in an industrial warehouse that has been successful enough to outstay it’s welcome. Cozy and intimate it definitely is not. It also could use more attention to cleanliness and maintenance - there were cobwebs and dust on the light fixture over our table, the bathrooms needed attention, and the front door was not closing properly causing many guests to struggle with it. The service started out well. Our server was friendly, seemed very knowledgeable about the menu, and confident enough to offer suggestions when asked. Unfortunately, it appeared the server became overwhelmed by other guests and we waited, and waited, and waited for the check. We very literally spent more time waiting to pay than we did ordering and eating the meal. The food is worth a return visit for an everyday meal but if we have a special occasion we’ll choose to dine elsewhere.

The food was good and tasted unique. But the receptionist was very unprofessional. She sat on the chair when we arrived and didn't say hello. After I told her I had a reservation, she was also indifferent and sat on the chair to check the information on the computer. After checking, she didn't say anything, just took the menu and walked to a table. We were very dissatisfied with her service attitude. I was looking forward to the dining mood and was treated like this as soon as I entered the door, which was very affected. The other service staff in the restaurant were still very good, at least they should be in working condition.

Wild Ginger is AMAZING! Paul, the GM, and his team. Make you feel like family, the moment you walk in the door! Being one of the Busiest restaurants in Bellevue, you should make reservations on Open Door! If not, the bar is open and Alive! The food and drinks are SO GOOD! And so many Delicious and creative options! I can’t wait to go back! Snow ❄️ Flake lane and all! It was worth it!

Excellent lunch today. Food was terrific. Wish they had a few more choices for Wine by the Glass.

Food and server was amazing. But manager wasn’t good. We asked swerved id they can make some lettuce cup vegetarian, he came back and told that it can’t and so we ended up ordering papaya salad. Manager came and told us after that we said no to lettuce cup and they have to throw it. We said we didn’t order but if you had to throw it, it’s OK bring it in. So insisted that even the server came and told us that it can’t be and so we changed it to papaya salad. He then said no worry about it somebody in the back of the kitchen who likes tofu can eat it. Totally impolite. After sometime walk around the table and looks at a table and says do you want some hot sauce? That is a bias statement, assuming we Indians need hot sauce. He might be trying to be nice. But if it was a great service, he shouldn’t have come and asked.
