Wild is a small restaurant and wine bar in the regional centre of Castlemaine.
We aim to bring you the best of the regions produce and beverages in a friendly and professional environment.
Our menu is based around sharing plates and we can cater to the single diner through to large groups.
In addition to the tables available online we have outdoor tables for casual walk-ins.

    I visited Wild with a Sydney friend who eats out there a lot. We both spoke about the quality of the food and the wines we had and the fact that we left feeling that we had eaten beautifully prepared and balanced meals without the feeling of having eaten excessively. Wild has a really good reputation in Castlemaine and last night really lived up to it. The only slight negative was the noise level as there was a table with about 12 people who were very noisy. As we were near the end of our meal we were able to leave shortly after the noise level increased.

    Food, service and location all very good! Was a lovely menu that was perfect for sharing. Hosts were very knowledgeable and down to earth. Drinks menu extensive and cocktails very very nice!

    Food was delicious, staff were super helpful advising of portion sizes so we left pleasantly full instead of overfull or still hungry. Will definitely be back!

    Beautiful atmosphere, professional friendly staff and delicious food. What more could you ask for. Had a wonderful night. Special shout out for the barramundi wings. Yummo.

    We had an amazing experience at Wild for my husbands birthday. The food, service and ambience was outstanding. If it wasn’t so pricey would go there often but will wait for another special occasion.
