Now we’re excited to bring these priorities into our food.

The Beer Eddy

All of our beer is made in house at one of our two locations. We brew with only the four traditional ingredients of beer (unless we want a specific flavour) and we do not filter or pasteurize. Our hops are grown on a fantastic hop farm just down the road on Allumette Island and our barley is largely grown in Ontario before being malted in Saskatchewan

Whitewater Brewing Company Riverside Brew Pub is a bit hard to find but the drive is beautiful and the beer and food is worth it! Brandon our server was fun and efficient. Different atmosphere to their Lakeside pub but both are worth going to. We will go back for sure!

The food was very good but I feel that three wedgies as a side is not enough, for what you pay for the meal. Five of our group has the wedgies and all were disappointed in the quantity, in fact one ordered an extra side and received seven more for $10.00...the seasonal beer was very tasty, and our server was excellent.

Very much rustic with a bit of a cafeteria feel. Could use some warmth of ambiance. Entertainment was awesome. Overall a good pick.

After reading the reviews, I disappointed to find that this place less ambience than a McDonalds. Basically wood plank is the decor, and not a stitch of fabric anywhere to absorb the sound bouncing off the low ceiling, straight back wood booths and yup, indoor picnic tables. The beer is focused almost entirely on variations on IPA which is hard to understand. The food was decent but not great. In spite of creative sounding dish names and interesting ingredients, the blend of tastes and textures in everything from the burgers to sandwiches to nachos tasted like a warm mush. We were relocated to a table outside on the back deck after the noise inside from the patrons and overly loud (but quite talented) musical duo drove us out there. The table was filthy from left over meals, even though the waitress “wiped” it. Basically, the place comes off as catering exclusively to 20 something hipsters, not families or older people. Given the location in a rafting hub, that’s fine. It’s just too bad they don’t describe it that way because we thought we in for a much better experience than it was.

Had a reservation for 2 groups, called ahead and spoke to Stephen (who “ran the place”) to merge the 2 groups into one table. Was assured all was well. We arrived, no record of me calling and they seemed annoyed to have a large party. Took ages to get our 3 orders of nachos (appetizers), tables that were seated after us got their food a long time before us. Took almost 2 hours to get our entrées. Entirely too long considering we had reservations. Very loud. Singer in corner was too loud for the space. No one could talk. We asked for him to please turn down his amp but he didn’t. Food was fine, but very slow service.

Unfortunately when I was there with my two girls there was such a drunk crowd on a Wednesday night that the Police were called . No kids menu. Took awhile to get seated
