It was a holiday night and they were understaffed - then a party of 16 with lots of children got seated at 8 pm so you can imagine how that was - kitchen o and service staff overwhelmed

Fun restaurant with good food options. The scallops were definitely the best drag that night! Didn’t really enjoy any of the cocktails, stick to wine.

Six of us celebrating our son-in-laws promotion. Food was delicious and service was friendly and well done. A little slow but was enjoyable as it gave us even more unpressured time to talk.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dining experience at Whitebird Restaurant on Saturday before the Wine over Water event. The dining room has the same eclectic styling as the Edwin Hotel in which it resides on the first floor. We sat inside as weather was threatening a bit. Light, airy and not crowded at 4:45 PM. The hostess was gracious and welcoming. Chelsea served us and what a pleasure she was. You know it's the attention to small details that matter to me. At this price point I expect food to be pretty darn good but service these days can be all over the board. Chelsea reminds me of why I like to dine out. She arrived in a timely manner. Had good knowledge of the menu. She was charming. Timed drinks and courses in an unhurried way. Most of the time we hold off on ordering mains till we have finished appetizers as the "turn and burn" policy in most dining establishments mean your salad or entre arrives before you are done enjoying your previous course and each other. Chelsea promised that would not happen with her and it didn't. Little things like changing out the silverware for the next course was smoothly and quietly accomplished. When Ori the manager came to check on us at the completion of our meal my only suggestion was to clone Chelsea or have her give master classes at other dining venues. Oh yes, and the food from our Smoked Pork Belly, through our salads to our mains (Scallops and Orecchiette) and seasonal veggie side were lovely and beautifully presented. Back for breakfast the next day before leaving and again a great experience though much more crowded and a bit noisier. While Wine over Water was a bit ho hum, the Whitebird and the Edwin were both very nice experiences that we will repeat. Oh, and Whiskey Thief upstairs rocks it too with great staff, great small plates, drinks and views to die for.

Food was very good @ location is great. Only real complaint is the bar tender was also tasked to serve tables as they were “short staffed”. At least it was a ‘slow night with several empty tables. It a decent value - and slightly off the beaten path - which reduces the ‘walk-in traffic.

Excellent brunch. Hip, upscale atmosphere with option to eat outside near scenic walnut street walking bridge and hunter museum. The peach crepe was unbelievable!
