Farm to table restaurant located on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast, just steps away from the beach and the Mississippi Sound. Located in a gorgeous restored and updated beach front home built in 1905. We use locally sourced farm fresh ingredients to serve a menu that changes daily with availability of fresh ingredients as well as with the changing seasons. We offer craft cocktails, local beers, an extensive list of fine spirits and wines paired with a dining experience that is second to none.

Austin Sumrall is the Chef and owner along with his wife, Tresse. He was classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America. White Pillars has been recognized and awarded in many state and national publications since its opening in 2017. Austin was crowned " King of American Seafood" in 2021 and nominated by the James Beard Foundation as a semi-finalist for "Best Chef South" in 2020. His specialty is keeping his menu fresh and ever changing with local ingredients and a worldly flare.

We are opening some bottles of wine that we think are really cool and pairing them for you! This is a great opportunity to try some wines that you maybe have not had before paired with our delicious White Pillars dishes. We are requiring full table participation and only offering this weekdays in the dining room. We have over 150 different bottles on our list and currently hold a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. We wanted to find a way to share some of the more obscure bottles with you! Please contact the restaurant or check social media for the menu.

Food was exceptionally good! Server “Red” was very pleasant!! It wasn’t her fault…… But the bar service was horrible, we waited over an hour for our drinks!!!! We had a table of 10 people and when we did start getting the drinks they came one or two at a time then a very long wait till the next drinks came!! I guess there bar tenders didn’t show up

Hi! we are so glad you enjoyed your evening and the food! We are very sorry about the wait time for the drinks! We have 4 bartenders (the most that will fit behind our giant bar) and a barback and they were all here, but we will speak with them to try to find out what went wrong. Again, we super apologize for your long ticket time as that is definitely not our norm.

Always our favorite restaurant in south Mississippi. The summer seafood ciopinno was a huge winner, as were the Nashville hot red snapper wings.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I have ever had in Mississippi! I had heard great things about White Pillars from friends I trust, but this exceeded expectations. Great bar, interesting + thoughtful + unique dishes, above & beyond service, as well as professionalism make this a must every time I’m back to the Ms Gulf Coast!

I had not been since the 60s two white pillars. It was fabulous. The food atmosphere service was exceptional. It will not disappoint you. I Will definitely go back.

Spent the evening at White Pillars for our birthday. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was top notch and on point! The food quality was exceptional. From the Mahi Mahi to the mushroom flat bread, the taste was outstanding. The crab ravioli is a must! The only complaint we had is with the seafood tower. While the taste was great, the quantity for the price was a bit lacking. The craft drinks were exceptional, however, a bit pricey. The four star rating comes from our perceived value. The price of the drinks were a bit high for our taste and the price for the evening was in the high range. We do, however, whole heartedly recommend this restaurant! The food is some of the best we have eaten, however, the plate size for the appetizers and the seafood tower was a bit lacking for the price. If this is a special occasion, got for it, but bring your checkbook. Four Pillars, while great, would probably not be a recurrent meal stop for us due to the price.

Every meal we’ve ever had at WP is top-notch . The Mahi crudo was perfect; pork chop was outstanding; peach cobbler to finish was excellent. Chef Austin Sumrall and his team knock it outs of the park every time. My one single solitary issue— the wine list could be more robust and the wine pricing is exorbitant. I expect to pay 2x-2.5x above retail for a bottle in a restaurant, but WP pushes the limits in this one respect with many bottles priced at 3x+ above retail . But the food never ever disappoints.

A consistent dining pleasure! The bar staff is professional & hard working. Wait staff is knowledgable, professional and simply excellent. The food is interesting, unique & very well prepared. The hostess, however, needs help. Despite my early reservation and few diners, this young lady felt the need to jam diners close together. Her judgement & spatial awareness is poor.
