We had a fabulous experience . From food to the welcoming environment of the owner and chef. I would go there again. We had Tajine Chicken, Lamb and Mezze, Moroccan tea and everything was great.

It was a family brunch and we couldn’t choose a better place, it is family owned, all made from the scratch, the food is amazing, delicious and the quantities are generous, the staff were so kind! We’ll be back!

Cozy Moroccan decor. Good food. Byob. Service a bit erratic. Of three of us main courses came out 15 minutes apart from each other. Suspect they are still getting act together. Will come back

Service was terrible, which affected everything else. Bread promised to the table never came, nor a waiter to ask about it. Water was delivered after 10 or 15 minutes. Though we had a reservation for 7 pm, they seemed totally unprepared for us and seemed very shortstaffed. We were told the person who checked us in had already left. Nobody came to check on us while waiting or during the meal and items that were requested to come first as an appetizer, such as soup and the pastilla dish, were served altogether with entrées. The worst was checking out. We were given never a bill. The waiter came with an iPad and said what the total was, $177 for 4 people. Seemed high, but we just paid it and left. On the way home we tried to calculate how the bill could be that high for what we ordered. We were given no receipt and none was emailed, so we saw no breakdown of the charges. I called there the next day and left a message, where nobody called back. I called again later in the day and spoke with someone 3 TIMES before I got an emailed receipt, and could finally see the errors. I was actually texted screenshots, where I could see the charges. We were charged for a lamb couscous ($39) instead of a vegetable couscous ($29), a $10 difference in an already overpriced dish that had few vegetables and little couscous. Expecting to share it with 2 people, it was good that we ordered some other things. It was not a proper serving for 2 and it was just ok. We were also charged twice for tea when asked if we wanted refills. Can you believe $20 for tea? All in all, a huge overcharge. Instead of refunding just the difference in the charge, he refunded the price of the entire dish, so the refund was $51. But in what occurred with the service and the fact we could not get a bill, put a real tamper or an otherwise pleasant evening with friends. There is no excuse for what happened, and will likely prevent me from returning to this restaurant.

Planning a trip to Morocco in February what better warm up than a visit to White House Tajine to step in to their cuisine. We had never been there and were very happy with the food, service and ambiance. The owner guided us to great menu choices (Mezze and Lamb/Chicken Tajine plus Baclava to polish things off.) This is a small hidden jewel in Bryn Mawr! Give it a try! (BYOB.)

Came for special evening but disappointed. Although the food was very good, I found it to be very overpriced. The portions were very small for 30 and 34 dollar entrees and 27 dollar small meze plate. All ingredients on the menu were not included in the entree, ie vegetables - only a couple of potatoes and the meat portion was conservative, only several bites of chicken on the bone. Three small pieces of cold bread were brought after the food was consumed. They were out of many items such as couscous and the juice machine was not working. The waiter kept saying he needed to check what was left on the menu. Water served in a plastic bottle. No one asked us about dessert so we skipped it, and we couldn’t find anyone to bring the check. Although the staff were friendly enough, we felt like that was not genuine, that we were a burden to be there and left disappointed and still hungry after an expensive meal for two.
