The experience would have been great if the customer service had been at least decent. We had a reservation, they sat us and absolutely ignored us for exactly 20 minutes. They did the absolute minimum and they “accidentally” added a 20% tip. Again, the food was good, the oysters were amazing, but we would never go back

Very good and unexpected seafood. Excellent cuisine. A little too noisy. I missed tissues after the meal (seafood). Waiters and waitresses very pleasant and helpful. I strongly recommend.

After being recommended this restaurant I had high hopes, I’m not a big fish lover to be honest but my husband is therefore my expectations weren’t exceptionally high. On arrival we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table in the back of the restaurant which was busy and very noisy. Many were raising their voices to be heard but hey that’s fine if the food is good. We ordered our food and it was explained it would come out at different times as and when it was ready. We were served our first dishes about 20 mins after ordering. Then the bread we ordered and the mozzarella came out about 20 mins later. Soon after this the table next to us placed an order for their second serving of food, one of the dishes they ordered was tuna which we were waiting on. 5 mins later they were served their tuna. We continued to wait, this was now 70 minutes after entering the restaurant by which point I was tired and deflated after a long day (not the restaurants fault I know. I made my frustrations known politely but firmly. Very quickly the 3 remaining dishes we had waited such a long time for miraculously appeared. We were told we’d not be charged for these dishes. After we’d left and paid the bill I noticed that they’d charged us for oysters that we didn’t have so all in all a very poor experience. Much of the food was very tasty but the tuna was very odd in the matching flavours and the scallops were on the chewy side. Would I go back again? In a word NO! We ended up paying £110 for some small plates and two drinks each. I won’t be back….

Excellent experience with fantastic fish! We opted for 6 Oysters and a variety of small plates and sides. Best options were oysters, monkfish skewers, muscles and tempura prawns. Interior decor was a pleasant surprise, a lot nicer than the web site photos. Highly recommended for fish lovers. Also the Hot sharing plate looked fantastic, but was finished when we ordered, would definitely try it next time

The oysters are amazing here and a highlight on the menu! Also highly recommend monkfish which is a must try!

We’ve been to this restaurant a few times and always had an enjoyable and seamless service. However on this occasion a few things were jarring. Having to wait 25 minutes for a booked table and 20 minutes to receive our first beverage. Certain seafood items were unavailable and the price has skyrocketed. A meal for two £200+
